As an international shield power, the builder tailored the "Qiangguo" ultra-large diameter shield machine for the project.

With a diameter of 13.27 meters and a total weight of more than 3,300 tons, the "Qiangguo" shield machine is equipped with more than 200 wear-resistant knives and has a strong ability to break rocks. At the same time, it adopts the most advanced electrical system, advanced grouting system in the tunnel, excavation management system, automatic muck measurement system, and atmospheric pressure tool change system, so that "Qiangguo" has a super "wisdom brain" and "nerve center", and makes it possible to safely construct 13-meter-level large-diameter tunnels in the core area of megacities.
