Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) is a mysterious and unknown monster hunter who was employed by the Holy See to kill demons and ghosts, and as a messenger of God, he was called "God's Left Hand".
After spending a lot of effort in London to get rid of the doctor who turned into a strange doctor, he was tired of his life of performing the task of hunting xenomorphs given by the Holy See and being called a killer.
Back at the Holy See, he confessed to the priest and resigned, but the priest refused and sent him on a new assignment to the mysterious capital, the ancient town of Transinia, where the vampire Count Dracula (Richard Rousberg) was the domain, and the Holy See hoped to get rid of Count Dracula through Van Helsing's high powers.
So Van Helsing and his knowledgeable little assistant Carl (David Venham) with a suitcase of strange tools came to Count Dracula's territory. The two had just entered the village when they encountered three vampire brides who had come to kidnap the children.
The village is caught in a chaotic situation where adults call children crying, chickens flying and dogs jumping, vampire brides with non-fuel-saving lamps, which are difficult to deal with, and Van Helsing is attacked in the inferior position.
At this time, the vampire female hunter Princess Anna (Kate Beckinsale) arrives, joins forces with Van Helsing to fight the vampire bride who is alone, and under Carl's guidance, subdues the vampire bride with church holy water, and crucifies the vampire bride with a blessed nail.
The villagers did not thank Van Helsing for killing the vampire bride, and their long-standing idea was to sacrifice a few children to Count Dracula in exchange for a stable life.

Scientists know that Count Dracula is terrified of the crazy plan and prepares to escape, but is killed, and Frankenstein escapes from the castle with the scientist's body, leaving Igo (Kevin O'Connor) to run errands for Count Dracula.
When Van Helsing and Count Dracula fought, they were bitten by werewolves, in order to save him, Anna was assisted by Carl to get the antidote when Van Helsing transformed into a werewolf, and after Count Dracula was killed by a werewolf, Anna pounced on the needle and injected the needle into the werewolf, and the unrecovered Van Helsing hit Anna hard, and when he changed from a werewolf to a human body, Anna just stopped breathing in his arms.
"Van Helsing" has no reason in terms of plot. But every five minutes, there's a climax, dizzying special effects, new and interesting ideas. The film is a collection of all the demons and ghosts of Western legends, including monster hunters, doctors who transform into geeks, vampires and Frankensteins and werewolves, vampire brides and various legends, fully equipped to become a blockbuster movie.
Special effects can be seen everywhere in "Van Helsing". As in the opening scene, Van Helsing's duel with the "transformation of the strange doctor"; the vampire transforms from a normal person into the appearance of the "original"; thousands of small vampires "hatch" out and flock to the human city to "find food to eat"; the transformation of the werewolf; the organs of frankenstein are lost, and then pieced together by themselves, etc., are all wonderful pictures that are extremely exciting, smooth, flawless, and completely satisfy the audience's "fantasy".
The fight scenes are also worth seeing. For example, van Helsing has just arrived in the mysterious capital of "Transinia" and has a duel with three beautiful vampire brides, which is really beautiful!
The scene of fierce fighting between the air and the ground makes people look both nervous and excited. And the three vampire brides are suddenly bright and moving, suddenly ugly and terrifying, and the shape changes are deeply satisfied with the audience's visual enjoyment!

At the end of the story, the director cleverly arranges for Van Helsing to be bitten by a werewolf, making him a youkai he has been hunting and killing all his life. Of course, the story ends with Van Helsing transforming into a werewolf and successfully killing Count Dracula (this scene of the special youkai vs. the special youkai is also wonderful).
