At 9:08 a.m. on April 26, the Fuxing intelligent EMU G9298 train slowly drove out of Jiuhuashan Station of Chihuang High-speed Railway, and headed for Shanghai Hongqiao Station through the newly completed Chihuang High-speed Railway. This is the first high-speed rail train after the opening of the Chizhou-Huangshan high-speed railway, marking the official opening of the Chizhou-Huangshan high-speed railway (referred to as the Chihuang high-speed railway). On the same day, the relevant parties held the departure ceremony of the first train of the Chihuang high-speed railway at Jiuhuashan Station.
The Chihuang high-speed railway is located in the mountainous area of southern Anhui, starting from Chizhou Station, passing through Guichi District, Qingyang County, Chizhou City, Anhui Province, Huangshan District, Yixian County, Huangshan City, and connecting to Yixian East Railway Station, with a total length of 125 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. There are 4 stations on the whole line: Chizhou, Jiuhuashan, Huangshanxi, and Yixian East, of which Jiuhuashan and Huangshan West are newly built stations, Chizhou Station is a reconstruction and expansion station, and Yixian East Station is an existing station.
The Chihuang high-speed railway operates at a maximum speed of 350 kilometers per hour. At the beginning of operation, the railway department arranged to run up to 24 locomotive trains per day. Among them, the fastest between Jiuhuashan Station and Chizhou and Hefei South Railway Station is 14 minutes and 1 hour and 37 minutes respectively, and the fastest between Huangshan West Station and Chizhou and Hefei South Railway Station is 30 minutes and 1 hour and 53 minutes respectively. In the future, according to market demand and changes in passenger flow, the train operation plan will be flexibly and dynamically adjusted to better meet the travel needs of the people along the line.
Chihuang high-speed rail tickets will be officially sold at 20 o'clock on the evening of April 25. The Dawan News reporter noticed that the lowest fare from Chizhou to Huangshan West Railway Station is 37 yuan, the lowest fare from Chizhou to Huangshan North is 72 yuan, the lowest fare from Jiuhuashan to Huangshan West is 14 yuan, and the lowest fare from Jiuhuashan to Huangshan North is 43 yuan. The reporter noticed that as soon as the tickets were launched at 20 o'clock on the evening of the 25th, some of the line tickets were sold out.
