1. Scope and conditions of application

  • The employer where the insured female employee works pays the basic medical insurance premiums on time and in full and the insurance status is normal;
  • Insured female employees are eligible for maternity insurance benefits;
  • Insured female employees who give birth in medical insurance designated medical institutions outside the province need to use cash to pay for maternity medical expenses.

2. Specific process

  • Insured female employees declare maternity medical expenses in the "Sporadic Reimbursement Declaration" module on the homepage of the "Hebei Smart Medical Insurance" WeChat Mini Program.
  • After the medical insurance handling department has passed the review, if the conditions for applying for maternity allowance are met, the system will automatically generate the maternity allowance declaration information and upload it to the unit's network hall online.
  • The unit logs in to the "Hebei Medical Insurance Public Service Unit Network Hall", clicks on the "Maternity Allowance Automatic Declaration and Review" module, determines the maternity and salary payment during the leave, and uploads it online to the medical insurance handling department, which allocates the maternity allowance according to the regulations.
  • Pregnant people can click on the "Business I Handle" on the homepage of the "Hebei Smart Medical Insurance" WeChat Mini Program to view the progress of business processing.
