We were able to get to know the whole story of the incident through our contacts with representatives of the three detained soldiers.
It turned out that this platoon was on a mission when it suddenly encountered an enemy force, and they did not hesitate to destroy this group of enemies and captured a batch of pike darts and guns. As a result, they returned to the unit too late, and on their way back to Aba, they met a company commander under Zhang Guotao. When the company commander learned that they were members of the Fifth Army Corps and that some of them had been captured, he sank his face and said sharply: "Keep all the captured booty!"
The incident in which Zhang Guotao organized the siege of Zhu De and Liu Bocheng caused indignation has already involved lower-level commanders and fighters. The comrades of this platoon were very angry when they saw that the company commander was so arrogant and unreasonable, and one of the soldiers confronted him: "The spoils of war are to be handed over to the public, so why should they be handed over to you?
The two sides argued. Even moved. The company commander took the plunder behind him with a large number of people, and with an order, he snatched all the trophies seized by this platoon, detained all the people of this platoon, and charged him with "defection." This was an obvious deliberate provocation by Zhang Guotao and others.
We returned to the headquarters and looked for Commander-in-Chief Zhu everywhere, but we didn't even find a shadow. When we were anxious, someone quietly told us that Mr. Zhu was fighting in the Lama Temple!

I walked briskly towards the Lama Temple. As soon as I stepped into the temple gate, Director Wang, who arrived first, pointed to me and introduced to the deputy commander-in-chief: "This is Ouyang Yi, the security chief of the Fifth Army Corps!"
Presumably he sued me, and the deputy commander-in-chief pointed at my nose angrily: "You Ouyang Yi, you are so bold! You are a counter-revolutionary, a fake revolutionary, you can say beautiful things, who are you bluffing! If you don't listen to the command of the Fifth Army Corps, I will command you! The headquarters will not deal with you, and our column headquarters will deal with you!"
The anger was quite high, and as he spoke, he took out his pistol and loaded it with bullets. Imminent!
Although I was scolded inexplicably, I did not say anything, restrained myself, avoided confrontation, and avoided bloodshed. When I raised my eyes, I saw that Mr. Zhu and Chief of General Staff Liu Bocheng were sitting in the corner, fighting each other! I swallowed my anger and tried my best not to let the tense air explode.
At this moment, Mr. Zhu stood up and spoke: "What are you doing?" Ouyang Yi, come in!"

I put aside the deputy commander-in-chief, approached Commander-in-Chief Zhu, saluted solemnly, and sat down beside him.
The deputy commander-in-chief, who did not know the truth, was asked by the commander-in-chief, and his attitude was a little more restrained, and he put away his gun.
If the Commander-in-Chief hadn't stepped forward to protect me, I would have been in danger. I was particularly moved by the fact that this happened in a meeting where the commander-in-chief was besieged and criticized, and he completely forgot about his personal safety and thought about his subordinates, the revolutionary comrades who had lived and died with him.
Then they continued to fight Commander-in-Chief and Commander-in-Chief Liu.
After a while, the soldier was instigated and carried into the meeting hall on a stretcher, crying and telling the headquarters that he had been beaten, and that some people were making noise outside: "The Fifth Army Corps has beaten our people, please ask Commander-in-Chief Zhu to examine his injuries!"
Zhu De calmly walked to the stretcher and said to the soldier kindly: "Little comrade, let me see where to fight?"
Zhang Guotao also gloated, his face gloating, pacing around in front of everyone with his hands behind his back, without saying a word, waiting to see Zhu De's joke.
The little soldier lifted his clothes and showed them to Zhu De, who looked at them carefully and frowned: "Are you not injured?" Comrade, you have to tell the truth, if you hit, you will be beaten, if you don't fight, you will not be beaten, and if you beat someone, you will be shot." Isn't it wrong to shoot people if they didn't beat you! Comrade, we must stress class fraternity, and we must not wronged good people. ”
Liu Bocheng looked at it and said, "It's not hurt, comrade!"
Zhang Guotao paced over slowly, pretended to glance at it a few times, and said slowly: "There is a little injury, there is a little ......."
He sent the warrior away. After the farce, they returned to the temple and continued to besiege the commander-in-chief and Commander-in-Chief Liu.

Ouyang Yi
Ouyang Yi, born in 1910, a native of Yizhang, Hunan, participated in the revolution in 1927, and was the director of the Security Bureau of the Political Department of the 5th Army Corps of the Red Front Army, the director of the 1st Bureau of the Headquarters of the Red Fourth Front Army, and the director of the Political Department of the Public Security Force and the deputy political commissar of the artillery after the founding of New China. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of lieutenant general, a member of the Fourth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Standing Committee of the Sixth National People's Congress, an alternate representative of the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and a representative of the Eleventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China. He died in 2005.

The Red 5th Army Corps was stationed in Longyan City, and the Red 13th Army was stationed in Shizhong, Xialao, and Xiaochi respectively to maintain the communication lines from Longyan to Nanjing Jinshan, Tingzhou to Shanghang.
The 3rd Red Army was in Zhangpu, and the 15th Red Army was in Tianbao, Nanjing, Baolin, Longshan, Jinshan, Shuichao, Shancheng, and Xiaoxi, extensively publicizing the masses and expanding their political influence; cracking down on local tyrants and militia groups, raising funds and materials; and mobilizing young people to join the army.
Under the direct command of the Central Revolutionary Military Commission, the Red 14th Army cleared out the remnants of bandits in southern Jiangxi and western Fujian, swept away the enemy's occupied points, consolidated the Soviet area, and supported the main force of the Red Army.

April 26, 1933
Zhou Enlai presided over the political work conference of the Red Army in Gugang Village, Le'an. The main leaders attending the meeting were Bo Gu, Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, Liu Bocheng, Wang Jiaxiang, Ye Jianying, and the directors of the political departments of the divisions and regiments of the Red Army. The meeting was presided over by Wang Jiaxiang and Zhou Enlai made a report. There were two main topics on the agenda: First, to study the political work of the Red Army; second, to make arrangements for expanding the work of the Red Army.
The Red 5th Army Corps garrisoned Fuzhang to collect materials and strive for the work of redness.

April 26, 1934
Bogu and Li De still had to hold on to Guangchang, and in the name of Zhu De, they issued the "Operational Order to Hold Guangchang", with the Red 13th Division and the 3rd Division of the Red 9th Army Corps forming the Eastern Group, under the unified command of Luo Binghui and Cai Shufan, to resist the enemy's Hedong column on the east bank of the Xujiang River and cover the actions of the main force of the Red Army.
The enemy on the east and west banks of the Yangtze River concentrated its overwhelming superiority and launched a general attack on the entire front in this small area with the support of aircraft and artillery. The Red Army fought the enemy on the east bank of the Yangtze River with the Red 13th Division and the 3rd Division of the Red 9th Army, the 14th Division held Guangchang, and the Red 1st and 3rd Army Corps and the Red 23rd Division counterattacked the enemy on the west bank of the Yangtze River. Zhang Ke, commander of the 1st Battalion of the 37th Regiment of the 13th Red Division, had surrendered to the enemy, and the enemy had about two battalions, occupied the broken stone village in front of the Qilin Mountain of the 37th Regiment, and built a fortress. The 38th Regiment moved west to the vicinity of Monk Village.
The 527th Regiment of the 264th Brigade of the 88th Division of the enemy advanced to Dianshang Village on the east bank of Meikou, opened the way with strong artillery fire, and covered the engineer battalion to erect a pontoon bridge. The 100th and 102nd regiments of the 34th Red Division, which held the river beach, concentrated light and heavy machine gun fire to block the river. The two sides held each other all day, and the enemy suffered heavy casualties, and the attack was stopped at 18 o'clock.
The Red 15th Division assembled from Tanabe to Zhoujiazui via Meikou, and the division headquarters notified all units to make combat preparations.

April 26, 1935
In accordance with the instructions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Central Military Commission, the corps of the Red Army assembled on the front line of Zhanyi, Baishui, and Qujing, preparing to destroy and repel the pursuing enemy's An Enpu brigade.
The main force of the Red 5th Army Corps shifted to Chaoyangqing, and another covering battalion approached the pursuing enemy to move and defend and lure the enemy to pursue to the east of Qujing. The headquarters is operated and stationed in Luoguang on Little Pig Street, with a journey of 70 miles.

April 26, 1936
The Red 2nd Army crossed the Jinsha River at four ferries at the beachhead of more than 100 miles of Shigu. On the same day, the Red 6th Army left Heqing and arrived at Shigu camp via Jiuhe and Baihanchang.
The Red 5th Army was stationed in the area of Suijing and the Guanyin River to carry out local work. The masses were mobilized to raise grain, grass, clothing, and other materials to support the large army, and to make material preparations for the 2nd and 6th Red Army Corps.
