Shenzhou chases dreams and sets sail

——Written on the occasion of the Shenzhou 18 manned spacecraft flying to the "Heavenly Palace".

In the northwest desert in April, spring and Jingming, poplar stands upright. At the launch site of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China's manned space industry has once again embarked on a new journey of flying into space.

At 20:59 on April 25, with a huge roar, the Long March-2F Yao-18 carrier rocket carrying the Shenzhou-18 manned spacecraft took off into the sky, spitting out a long tail flame and soaring into the sky.

This is the third manned mission in the application and development stage of the space station, and the 32nd mission of the manned space project.

32 years of self-reliance and self-improvement, unremitting struggle, 32 years of chasing dreams and the sky, non-stop. Heading towards a broader sea of stars, China's astronauts are moving forward bravely and constantly writing a magnificent poem about China's manned space program from big to strong.

Fiery hearts beat in the land of heroes

When the ship-arrow assembly enters the refueling stage, the Shenzhou 18 manned mission enters the countdown.

At the site of the tower, Liu Huabing was dressed in work clothes and was meticulously inspecting the filling equipment and pipelines. Fuel propellant is the power of the rocket, which is flammable and explosive, highly toxic and corrosive. The raise should be completed in one day, "do it right once, do it right once", and there is no room for sloppiness.

The filling system has two reservoir areas under its jurisdiction, and dense valves, pipelines and cables are distributed among them, and it is necessary to inspect five or six times a day. Liu Huabing shuttled to various points, and the quality of the operation was not up to par and the standards were not in place, which was what he was most concerned about.

Liu Huabing, who has been in the company for 30 years and has successfully guaranteed the refueling work from Shenzhou 1 to Shenzhou 17, is still as serious and meticulous as the first time he took up his post.

At this time, at the critical stage of adding Shenzhou 18, Liu Huabing told reporters a detail about "a glimpse on the tower"-

Each time about 3 hours before the ignition launch, the main personnel of each rocket system will board the launch tower to check the final status of the rocket. At this time, it coincided with the astronauts climbing the tower, getting on the arrow, and entering the capsule. "We will always be on the pylon, seeing them from afar. Liu Huabing said that the moment he saw them take the elevator, a sense of responsibility arose. Astronauts are putting their lives in our hands, and we must be accountable to them.

In the past 30 years, Liu Huabing's generation of astronauts has personally experienced the magnificent journey of the mainland's aerospace industry, "no matter the size of the mission, at first it was once every few years, then it was several times a year, and now it is more than 40 a year." Liu Huabing said.

From unmanned flight to manned flight, from Shenzhou 1 to Shenzhou 18, from the post-70s and post-80s to the post-90s and post-00s, they carry the girders...... Generations of Chinese astronauts have continued the bloodline inheritance and heroic relay that spanned the centuries.

On the evening of the 24th, the refueling work was completed. At this time, there were less than 30 hours left before launch. The northwest desert is full of stars. In the night, in the brightly lit tower, the magic arrow stands proudly, ready to launch.

Join forces to go on an expedition to build a "ladder" to your dreams

It's an exhilarating moment –

"Comrade Commander-in-Chief, we have been ordered to carry out the manned flight mission of Shenzhou 18, and we are ready, please instruct. Astronaut Ye Guangfu of the astronaut brigade of the Chinese People's Liberation Army!" "Astronaut Li Cong!" "Astronaut Li Guangsu!"

"Let's go!"

"Yes!"

The melody of "Singing the Motherland" sounded, and the crowds on both sides of the Dream Garden Square of Wentian Pavilion were jubilant. Astronauts Ye Guangfu, Li Cong and Li Guangsu waved to the crowd with steady steps.

11 years after joining the astronaut team, Ye Guangfu entered space for the first time. Now, after 2 years, he has ushered in the moment of his dream of "Heavenly Palace". In order to return to space, as soon as the Shenzhou-13 mission ended, he devoted himself to recovery and training. "The state of the astronaut should be either flying or preparing to fly. Ye Guangfu said.

Recalling the first time he left the capsule, the blue earth, the beautiful aurora and the colorful land became a beautiful memory that Ye Guangfu never forgot. Now, when he is about to return home, he has taken on more missions and responsibilities. This time, Ye Guangfu, as the commander, will lead two young team members to go to space.

Li Cong and Li Guangsu are the third batch of astronauts on the mainland. When it comes to the feeling of flying for the first time, Li Cong and Li Guangsu both gave the same answer: explore the vast space and ask the sky for the country!

5 kilometers away from Wentian Pavilion, the manned space launch site of Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center is an orderly scene.

"Aoyama USB, radar tracking is normal-"

This is a voice from the front line of measurement and control. Tsingshan is Luo Jiayu's familiar code name, capturing information in real time on the screen and building a "cloud channel" for the connection of heaven and earth, this is his job, Tsingshan is him, but not just him.

Manned spaceflight is a big project, and "it has to rely on a bunch of people" to support it. 14 systems, hundreds of subsystems, thousands of units, hundreds of thousands of scientific research workers, each in their respective positions, struggling to lift the rocket to the sky.

"15 minutes countdown. ”

In the meteorological room, Ren Fengjie stared at the screen, and any slight change in the weather curve could not escape his eyes. In the days of preparing for the Shenzhou 18 manned mission, the "rustle" drawing sound, nearly ten years of data analysis...... All the efforts have turned into peace of mind at this moment.

On the pylon, the last group of evacuees left. The tower slowly opened, revealing a milky white arrow body.

"Attention everyone, prepare in 3 minutes!" Commander Zero's command, Zhao Lei, was loud and powerful.

"5, 4, 3, 2, 1, ignition!"

Lift together and go straight to the heavenly palace. Shenzhou, the magical boat of the Tianhe, once again flew over the land of China and rushed to the vast sky.

Forge ahead towards the sea of stars that are farther away

After the ignition command was issued, software engineer Li Shufang stared at the screen, and the status and data of the spacecraft's operation appeared in front of him one by one.

As the "nerve center" of spacecraft launch command and decision-making, the real-time software system developed by Li Shufang and his team has been updated to the third generation, and has successfully supported several manned space missions.

The ship and arrow were separated, the spacecraft was put into orbit, and the astronaut crew was in good condition...... "I announce that the launch mission of Shenzhou 18 was a complete success!" On the evening of April 25, in the accusation hall of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, the screen was red and applause was thunderous.

The launch of the Shenzhou-18 manned spacecraft was a complete success.

Li Shufang breathed a sigh of relief. For Li Shufang, the real-time data displayed on the screen witnesses his growth. Engaged in software work for 25 years, starting from the front-line positions of Dongfeng telemetry data processing and software research and development, Li Shufang has taken root in the desert and moved forward bravely.

In 2008, Li Shufang, who graduated from Tsinghua University with a master's degree, returned to the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, just in time for the system software update. How to make the system run more efficiently and sustainably has become a haunting problem in his mind.

During that time, the office lights were often on late at night. In front of the screen, lines of code, he analyzed them one by one, and after repeatedly precipitating and thinking, a lot of accumulation became a flash of inspiration when solving the problem.

Today, Li Shufang's team is becoming more and more mature. "Although the task density is increasing, it has become easier to carry out the task. Li Shufang said. Next, Li Shufang will embark on a journey again, just like the footsteps of generations of astronauts along the way, never stopping.

At this moment, the astronauts are on their way to the "Heavenly Palace". According to the plan, after the Shenzhou-18 manned spacecraft is put into orbit, it will adopt the autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking mode to dock with the radial port of the Tianhe core module to form a combination of three ships and three cabins.

The starry sky is vast, and the exploration is endless. In the journey of asking the sky, China's manned space flight has been pursuing dreams and surpassing all the way, constantly marking China's height, engraved China's precision, running out of China's speed, and moving forward in the direction of building a space power.
