Nightclubs resume The Moulin Rouge will be picked up again one after another

author:European Times

Agence France-Presse reported that the Moulin Rouge and Lido nightclubs, the symbol of Paris's "Crazy Night", which had been closed for a year and a half due to the epidemic, finally ushered in the resumption of business. The Lido nightclub on the Champs Elysées will receive its first customers from September 16, two days later for its 75th anniversary.

Le Paradis Latin, a landmark on the left bank of the Seine, and Michou, the smallest nightclub in Paris, in Montmartre, reopened on September 3. The Mad Horse Nightclub, known for its nude performances, will reopen at the end of September, bringing "new surprise paintings" on the occasion of its 70th anniversary.

The Moulin Rouge nightclub, which was forced to close from 12 March 2020, will reopen on 10 September, with tickets sold out on that day. The newly organized Moulin Rouge troupe includes 80 artists from 14 countries.

Moulin Rouge said that although there will no longer be a need to limit the number of passengers at that time, the tables will be separated, "for more comfort and to reassure customers." Mathilde Tutiaux, a star at the Moulin Rouge, said the actors were so excited that everyone was impatient after too long.

According to reports, before the end of the year, the Moulin Rouge is not open every day, first of all, it will provide two performances every night from Thursday to Sunday, and the performance on Wednesday will be increased from October, and the dinner-performance package will be offered at the end of October.

The Lido and The Latin Paradise also choose to gradually recover, opening 3 to 5 nights a week. According to the managers of Latin Paradise, it is possible to know the traffic within 15 days through customer bookings, compared with the previous two months of traffic, and now many customers buy tickets at the last minute. Other nightclubs in Paris have also found this phenomenon.

Paradise Latin usually hosts 600 customers, and at this stage the management has decided to only welcome 450 people. At the Lido nightclub, which has 250 employees and 60 performers, "the booking is good, but it is not fully booked". The artistic director of Mitchell Nightclub said: "It's great to be back on stage! Because we know the audience is waiting for us. He admits that it is not easy to restart work: "(During the epidemic) everyone left, everyone had new ideas". Catherine Jacquart, Who is now in charge of Mitchew, said many of her previous regulars were looking forward to coming back to see the show. In addition, because the nightclub continued to operate online performances during the epidemic shutdown, attracting some new customers, Aker believes that the customer base has expanded.

A sanitation pass is required to enter all nightclubs, and spectators do not need to wear masks when sitting down, and masks when leaving their seats. Staff and technicians wear masks, but actors do not.
