Chapter 6 of Part II of the Regulations on Disciplinary Punishment of the Communist Party of China is a provision on punishment for violations of political discipline. Chapter VI of the newly revised Disciplinary Regulations contains a total of 28 articles, with 2 articles added and 12 articles amended.

Political discipline is the code of conduct that must be observed by the party's organizations at all levels and all party members in their political stance, political direction, political principles, and political path, and is the fundamental guarantee for maintaining the party's unity and unity. Among the party's disciplines, political discipline is the most important, fundamental, and crucial discipline, and it is the discipline that takes the lead and is in charge of the general, and observance of political discipline and political rules is the premise and foundation for abiding by all party disciplines.

The violations of political discipline stipulated in this chapter mainly include the following categories: not being consistent with the Party Central Committee on major issues of principle; publishing or disseminating remarks with serious political problems; failing to carry out the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee; being disloyal and dishonest to the Party organizations; not being firm in ideals and beliefs; having words and deeds with political problems in foreign-related activities; dereliction of duty in fulfilling the political responsibility of managing the Party and governing the Party; and violating political rules.

Chapter VI of the newly revised Disciplinary Regulations "Punishment for Violations of Political Discipline" contains a total of 28 articles, 2 articles have been added and 12 articles have been amended. Article 55 is added to clarify the punishment provisions for engaging in speculation, befriending political swindlers, and acting as political swindlers; Article 57 is added to enrich the punishment provisions for Party members and leading cadres who have a misplaced view of political performance, violate the new development concept, and deviate from the requirements of high-quality development, and adjust the behavior of engaging in "image projects" and "performance projects" that work hard for the people and hurt money from violating mass discipline to violating political discipline. In Article 52, provisions are added on the punishment of those who read, browse, or listen to materials with serious political problems without permission, and the circumstances are serious; in Article 54, the punishment provisions for engaging in acts of political clinging are added; and in Article 56, the punishment provisions are added for those who disregard the overall interests of the Party and the state, Article 69 explicitly strengthens ideological education for Party members who believe in religion and requires them to make corrections within a set period of time; Article 70 adds provisions on punishment for individuals engaging in superstitious activities, so as to encourage Party members to strengthen their ideals and beliefs and always maintain their true political qualities.
