Recently, the Beijing Youth Science and Technology Education Association held a science popularization promotion and "AI+" science and technology education exchange meeting for primary and secondary schools in Beijing in Peiwen College. The conference also released the Informatics Proficiency Assessment Activity (BCSP-X) for junior high school and primary school students in Beijing, which is conducted offline twice a year and online four times a year, to discover and cultivate talents with informatics literacy.
Background of the event
Sponsored by the Beijing Youth Science and Technology Education Association and undertaken by the Beijing Peiwen Institute of Innovative Education, the "Beijing Primary and Secondary School Informatics Science Popularization and "AI+" Science and Technology Education Exchange Conference" was held in Peiwen Academy, which has a strong cultural atmosphere. Zhang Xiaohu, executive vice president and secretary general of Beijing Youth Science and Technology Education Association, and director of the Science Education Research Center of the Administration of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, delivered a speech.
This activity is organized by the Beijing Youth Science and Technology Education Association BCSP-X (Editor's note: B here stands for Beijing, Shandong has an informatics activity CSP-X for primary school students, Beijing's X includes not only primary school students but also junior high school students) activities, for Beijing primary and secondary school students to carry out informatics ability assessment, aiming to carry out the early discovery of top-notch innovative talents in informatics, and make every effort to create an important platform for the selection of informatics talents in the city. The National Youth Informatics Olympiad is one of the five major science competitions, an important starting point of the National Strong Foundation Program, and an informatics competition and popularization activity for young people across the country.
