"Finely Painted Five-color Diagram Annotated Compendium of Materia Medica" - Qing Engraving Edition. The book contains 1,110 illustrations, all of which are hand-colored with natural mineral pigments, which are quite rare in the "Compendium of Materia Medica".
"Compendium of Materia Medica" is a masterpiece of medicine in the Ming Dynasty in mainland China, compiled by the three generations of the medicine saint Li Shizhen and the descendants of the disciples and grandchildren for 27 years, published in 1590, a total of 52 volumes, containing 1892 kinds of drugs (another 1897), 11096 prescriptions, and 1160 exquisite illustrations.
