2. Antistatic finishing of non-woven fabrics

Due to its hydrophobic nature, PP non-woven fabric is easy to generate static electricity, resulting in the adsorption of dust and particles in the air on the surface of the non-woven fabric, causing pollution to medical devices and human wounds. Therefore, it is necessary to apply not only a tri-antibody finish to the nonwoven, but also an antistatic finish.

For example, Texnology®NW16, which is a non-ionic antistatic agent composed of modified organophosphate compounds, can be used in the same bath with non-woven tri-antibody finishing agent, by accelerating the way of charge escape, reducing the situation of static electricity generated by charge accumulation in the same part, so that the non-woven fabric can obtain good antistatic properties on the basis of obtaining the function of tri-antibody.
