In order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, give full play to the leading role of the "Women's Federation + Procuratorate" linkage in the protection of the rights and interests of women and children, strengthen the awareness of the rule of law among grassroots women cadres, improve their legal literacy and ability to perform their duties, and help grassroots social governance, recently, the Tuoketuo County Women's Federation organized women representatives of our county to participate in the "Rule of Law Guards Half the Sky and Joins Hands to Make Contributions to the New Era" procuratorial open day activity launched by the County People's Procuratorate.
During the event, the participants visited the 12309 Procuratorial Service Center, the 12309 Procuratorial Service Hall, the Yellow River Basin Ecological Protection Studio, the Juvenile Procuratorial Studio, the Discipline and Law Lecture Hall, the Marxist Book House and other functional areas. Through the introduction of the narrator, the participants had zero distance contact with the procuratorial business and deeply felt the procuratorial culture. Subsequently, they watched the original public welfare micro-film "I Am the Monkey King", and everyone discussed hot issues such as family education for minors.
At the subsequent symposium, the relevant personnel of the procuratorate "explained the law with cases" to the participants on typical cases of supporting prosecution for the protection of women's rights and interests and typical cases of public interest litigation for women's rights and interests, and introduced the effectiveness of performing their duties in accordance with the law to protect the rights and interests of women and children in recent years. The participants exchanged views on the work functions and practical experience of the department, and put forward new ideas and measures on a series of issues such as how to ensure the implementation of various laws and regulations on women and children, how to establish and improve anti-violence mechanisms, and how to strengthen legal aid and rights protection services.
Through this activity, the procuratorial organs have given full play to their functional role in protecting and safeguarding the rights and interests of women and children. In the next step, the Tuoketuo County Women's Federation and the Tuoketuo County People's Procuratorate will continue to strengthen cooperation, form a joint force for the protection of the rights and interests of women and children, jointly promote the "Women's Federation + Procuratorate" model, and contribute to the joint strength and wisdom of women's inspection in the new era to maintain social harmony and stability and protect "her" rights and interests.
