It was rumored that it was called a god, and more and more people came to see him from far and wide, as if they were worshipping some god, and in order to attract more followers, he actually went to the United States to take a photo with former US President Clinton.
Later, he packaged this incident and returned to China to publicize it, claiming that his qigong could not only control natural and man-made disasters, but also use his mind to intercept missiles from a long distance if World War III broke out.

He began to use this guise to continue to swindle, but soon some people stood up to question him, and some experts in the medical field thought that his treatment was, which was an insult to traditional medicine.

In May 1987, a major mountain fire disaster occurred in Daxinganling, Heilongjiang Province, the mainland burned for almost a month, and how many fire brigades rushed to the fire scene at that time, and it took a lot of effort to extinguish the fire.
But what people didn't expect was that Yan Xin actually made a fuss about this, he trumpeted that he had a way to extinguish the mountain fire, saying that he would go to work now, use qigong to curb the mountain fire, it only took three days, and the fire could be controlled by him, and after speaking, he walked into the small black house.
When the officers and soldiers worked desperately to extinguish the mountain fire, Yan Xin said that it was because of his qigong that the fire was controlled, and it was he who used qigong to control the fire from a distance, so the credit should be his.
Yan Xin also said that if a third world war breaks out in the world, he can also use qigong to help, and if the enemy's missiles are launched, he can use qigong to intercept them.
Some people who believed in his qigong really believed his nonsense, and even publicized how amazing qigong was for him, and Yan Xin's name completely spread.
In order to further expand his influence, Yan Xin decided to create a new model of "reporting with gong", that is, on-the-spot "treatment", he told everyone that he could use qigong to see everyone's physical condition and perform gong on the symptoms.
Unexpectedly, after being brainwashed, everyone really felt that their health had improved, and everyone held him high as a master, and the most ridiculous thing was that Yan Xin immediately struck while the iron was hot, published several papers, and even got 60,000 yuan of research funds for the study of qigong.
With infinite scenery, he went to the United States to give a speech, and after returning to China, he held a number of performances, each of which made a lot of money, and these followers, in order to listen to Yan Xin's class, rushed to the scene and bought tickets at a high price to see him.
Yan Xin used this way to cheat people out of money, not only was he not reported, but he was all the rage in China, which also made Yan Xin forget who he was, and the whole person was completely floating, and he actually tried to enter the academic world, but when he applied for a teaching position, he was rejected.
In 1986, this qigong master applied to Tsinghua University to become a full-fledged professor, and proposed that the "new qigong" course be added to the university curriculum.
He felt that as long as he could enter a prestigious school to teach, then Qigong would be completely accepted, but how could Tsinghua University agree and directly reject his application, Qigong therapy has no scientific basis at all, so it is impossible to gain a foothold in a higher education institution.
