Text | The golden body is strong

Today is the "World Book Day" on April 23, and I picked up the old work ""Nanzhang and Northern Zhou" to commemorate Mr. Zhou Mei'an, a famous bibliophile and scholar in Jiashan during the Republic of China.

"South Zhang and North Zhou" refers to the two scholars of Jiashan in the past, Mr. Zhang Tianfang and Mr. Zhou Mei'an. Zhang Tianfang, a Xiucai in the late Qing Dynasty, a doctor studying in France, a university professor, and a librarian of literature and history. Before his death, he lived in No. 7, Yandiandai, the original South Gate, and was called "Nanzhang" well-deserved. So who is the "Northern Zhou"? Answer: Mr. Zhou Mei'an, who lives at No. 43 Beimen Street, is also.

Zhou Mei'an, known as Ruiji, also known as Ji. Born in 1881 and died in 1964, he was a native of Weitang, Jiashan. Xiucai in the late Qing Dynasty, university professor, and librarian of literature and history. After Mr. Zhou Mei'an showed his talent, he went to Pinghu to teach a private school for a few years, and after returning to Jiashan, he was hired by Jiashan Yixue and taught for many years.

In the 30s of the last century, when Zhang Tianfang was the dean of the Faculty of Arts of Jinan University in Shanghai, Mr. Mei An was a professor of the Faculty of Arts. After leaving Jinan University, Mr. Mei An was hired as a professor at Shanghai Zhizhi University. Mr. Mei An's grandson, Zhou Xuekang, told me: "When I was a child, I had a big cupboard at home, which was full of university records, and there were many photos of my grandfather and students wearing bachelor's hats. ”

Unlike Mr. Zhang Tianfang, Mr. Mei An is low-key and unsociable, so his influence is far less than that of Mr. Zhang Tianfang. Despite this, Mr. Zhang Tianfang is convinced of Mr. Mei'an's knowledge. In the second year of the Republic of China, Zhang Tianfang's "Good Newspaper" has a record of forming a chat club with Mr. Mei An and others. Mr. Mei An is brilliant in writing, and when friends and friends published their personal collections, they can ask Mr. Mei An to inscribe the preface of the poems, which can add luster to the collection.

Zhang Tianfang's "Non-non-Room Extra-Collected Poems" and "Chishang Manuscripts" were all written by Mr. Mei An. Zhang and Zhou have a lot of singing and harmony works, which can only be seen in the volume of "Chi Shang Manuscripts", which includes 16 poems by Mr. Mei An. In other friends' poems, "Tianfang and Mei'an" are always connected, such as "Eyelash Nest" "With Tianfang Mei'an Bird Stone Tour Plum Blossom Nunnery Liuzhou Pavilion" and "The Original Rhyme of Tianfang Mei'an's Illness" and so on.

The manuscript of "Yiyalou Singing and Poems", which is now stored in the Jiashan County Library, is a collection of poems by Mr. Mei An and Mr. Tianfang. Mr. Mei An's eldest grandson, Zhou Xueyuan, remembers that his grandfather often held the extremely precious Duan inkstone, walked across the fish selling bridge with a brush, crossed the city river, and went to Mr. Zhang Tianfang's house at No. 7 Yandiandai, and wrote poems with a wave, which was a great pleasure for Mr. Mei An.

Mr. Mei An is a master of the alliance, and the words he wrote during the Anti-Japanese War were many people who fought the war and were fierce. For example, one of the four links of "Saving the Martyrs of the Anti-Japanese Resistance on the Two Roads of Shanghai": "The two roads should be strong and strong, and the earth will crack and the sky will be shocked to finish the track; ”

After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he wrote the "Memorial Service for the Martyrs of the Jiashan Anti-Japanese War": "Leave the righteousness of heaven and earth, increase the glory of the nation, taste the courage to lie on the salary, and fight for this seven feet; ”

Mr. is a scholar, but he is full of ambition to serve the country. And love the hot land of the hometown, and the martyrs of the same heart, in order to have feelings. The impassioned work makes people full of ambition to serve the country. When Mr. worked in the county government of the Anti-Japanese War, in July 1945, he wrote "Rebuilding the Tianning Thousand Step Bridge Bridge" (golden note: it should be "Rebuilding the Anba Bridge"): "Shuangru Ningxi, the sound of the oars in the western area shakes the water, the light divides the dawn, and the sail shadow from the north is red. ”

There is a text next to it: "The bridge is dry in Tianning District, Jiashan, and Yu passed here with the Anti-Japanese War County Government in July 34, and the bridge pillars of the two joint publications written in the past are still there." "And the appendix of the old couplet" flows to Fenhu, there must be a dragon chanting to surprise Daze, the source from Xiushui, and the remaining mandarin dreams of stable Fangzhou. "The work is stable, the rhetoric is elegant, and the aftertaste of reading is endless.

Like Mr. Tianfang, Mr. Mei An loves to collect books. The Yiya Building is the place where Mr. Mei An's family has a book collection. Mr. Zhou Xueyuan told me: "My grandfather has a large collection of books, thousands of volumes, and most of them have letter sleeves, or use nanmu plywood, which are complete sets. There are all kinds of subsets of scripture and history, and the quality is also very good, and the grandfather doesn't want it if the quality is not good. Some bookworms are eaten or damaged, and grandpa will carefully repair them. The book that has been repaired by Grandpa is clean and neat. Some books were not signed, and my grandfather would carefully write them and glue them to the envelope or plywood. Each book is stamped with a collection seal. I remember that my grandfather's book collection was printed with a box, and the deepest impression was an oval-shaped book seal, which was covered with blue ink on the book, and the inscription was 'Jiashan Zhou's Yiya Building Master Mei An Seal'. ”

Zhou Xueyuan recalled: "Every summer vacation, my grandfather asked my younger brother and me to help dry books. Moving out in the morning and coming in in the evening often made us sweat profusely. When the books were collected in the evening, the grandfather would register them on the side, for fear of messing up or losing them. My house used to have seven or eight large bookcases, full of them, all of which were thread-bound books. I heard my grandfather say that his collection of books is all clear books. ”

Mr. Jiang Weiyun mentioned in his "Memoirs" that after the Anti-Japanese War, he and Mr. Cai Shaosheng edited "Jiashan Ci Compilation": "Mr. Zhou Mei'an handed over to me all the works of the villagers in his possession and himself. It can be seen that Mr. Mei An has a lot of works by rural sages, and he also spares no effort to support the younger generations and local culture. Therefore, before his death, Mr. Mei An had the idea of donating the books in Yiya Building to Jiashan.

Later, my husband died. After 1966, the collection of books in Yiya Building was copied by the "Red Guards", but fortunately they were all handed over to the county cultural center and placed in the warehouse, which was preserved. In the late 70s of the last century, the collection of books in Yiya Building was returned. At that time, Mr. Mei An's wife, Sun Zhuanghua, was still alive (living at his daughter's house in Hangzhou), so the book was shipped to Hangzhou.

In 1985, his family donated the collection of 2,006 books to the Hangzhou Library, which was under construction. The author has a certificate of merit issued by the Hangzhou Library to Mr. Zhou Mei'an's family on August 1, 1985, which reads: "Mr. Zhou Mei'an hereby donated a batch of ancient books from his family collection, totaling 2,000 to the national collection, and specially gave a certificate of merit for encouragement." Hangzhou Library, August 1, 1985. and provide a catalogue of donated books. Although Mr. Mei An's collection of books has not been left in Jiashan, it is collected by the state, which also fulfills Mr. Mei'an's last wish.

Few people know about Mr. Mei An's appointment as a librarian at the Zhejiang Provincial Research Institute of Culture and History. In 2015, I went to the Zhejiang Provincial Archives to check the information and accidentally found that the "Notice for Hiring Mr. Zhou Mei'an as a Librarian of the Provincial Museum of Culture and History" issued by the General Office of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Committee was November 13, 1964.

Zhou Xueyuan told me: "It was Mr. Zhang Tianfang who recommended my grandfather as a librarian of the Provincial Museum of Culture and History. When the offer was issued, my grandfather was still alive, and when the offer letter was sent to my house, my grandfather had just passed away. We enshrined the letter of appointment and documents in front of the statue of my grandfather to comfort my grandfather's spirit in heaven. ”
