Recently, the first "octagonal" pedestrian bridge project in Yuhua District has gone through a day and a night of continuous assembly operations, and the last piece of the main bridge compartment has been slowly hoisted into place, and the main steel structure of the bridge has successfully completed the "octagonal" closing, which means that the main bridge is fully connected.
According to reports, the overpass is located at the intersection of Environmental Protection East Road and Xing'an Road in Yuhua Economic Development Zone, the overall plane is an "octagonal" layout, with a total length of 244.09 meters, the total width of the main bridge is 4.5 meters, 8 ladders are located at the four corners of the intersection, and the clearance under the bridge is 5 meters, with a total investment of about 35 million yuan.
Due to the high design requirements of the polygonal flyover, the construction volume is large, and many aspects such as the production and processing of the main bridge, road transportation, hoisting site traffic control, hoisting position accuracy and many other aspects pose greater challenges, in the whole hoisting process, technical personnel strictly control the technical parameters, and the construction unit, the supervision unit, the construction unit, the traffic management department, and the State Grid work together to complete the height limit operation under the 110kV high-voltage line with four machine lifting. After successful lifting, the safety hoisting and precise positioning of the main bridge were quickly completed, and the butt deviation and weld of the main bridge met the requirements of the acceptance specification at one time.
After the completion of the bridge construction, it will greatly improve the traffic environment around Environmental Protection Avenue and Xing'an Road, effectively ensure the travel safety of employees, students and tens of thousands of surrounding residents of Changsha BYD Company, Changsha Vocational and Technical College of Commerce and Tourism, etc., which is of great significance for improving the urban infrastructure construction and improving the business environment in Yuhua District.
