In the past few days, farmers in various parts of our county have seized the good weather, stepped up the harvesting of rapeseed, ensured that the land was ploughed in time to plant early rice, and made every effort to ensure this year's grain production.
A few days ago, in a contiguous rape field in Shangdian Village, Qiawan Town, the harvester shuttled back and forth, quickly rolling the rapeseed into the machinery, and after threshing, it was put into the "bag", and the broken straw was returned to the field on the spot to increase soil fertility.
Hu Longzai, secretary of the Party branch of Shangdian Village, Qiawan Town, said: "Now taking advantage of the good weather, we are seizing the time to harvest rapeseed, this year our rape grows very well, the particles are full, and the oil is more." This year, we have planted 320 acres, and it is expected that about 11,000 catties of rapeseed can be harvested, which can increase the income of the village collective economy by 30,000 yuan. The next step is to seize the time to plant rice, not to miss the agricultural time of rice sowing, to ensure a good harvest of early rice this year. ”
In recent years, our county has actively promoted the "rice, rice, oil" rotation planting model, strengthened land use efficiency, and helped farmers increase production and income through a series of measures such as government guidance and technical guidance to the field to households. At the same time, mechanized sowing and harvesting are used in the planting process to realize the integration of farming, sowing and harvesting, and the planting rate, single yield and high quality rate are continuously improved. At present, the rape has entered the harvest period and is expected to be fully completed by May.
