As the title suggests, the anti-chain dropper was originally a special request from Specialized and was quickly adopted by K-Edge as a full-fledged member of their lineup. The upcoming K-Edge 1x Race W chain arrester is mounted on the bottle cage screw of the standpipe and has a wider range of adjustments, and is available in two sizes to be compatible with more brands of frames.
The anti-drop chain is mounted to the bearing arm with a thicker screw, which also acts as a pivot point, and the other two screws are used to adjust the angle of the anti-chain to match the chainline.
Longer screw slots allow for height adjustment, while two thicknesses of the carrier arms can accommodate different pipe diameters, and the multi-screw design gives it more adjustment positions for fine adjustments.
This product has a suggested retail price of $149.99 and is available now. The package includes a small tube of screw glue in addition to the hardware, as well as longer bottle cage screws, so it doesn't interfere with your ability to install the bottle cage.
It's worth mentioning that they've also redesigned the mountain bike bowl cover frame with a sleeker design, using more advanced machining techniques to remove more material, have a slimmer profile, and increase clearance from the stem. They have also designed additional mounts for people who like to mount action cameras and headlights in this location.
