The scope and objectives of the special rectification
Concentrate on rectifying the situation of activities and work unrelated to education and teaching entering the campus at will, as well as the formalism of emphasizing traces over practical results in the process of social affairs entering the campus, and create a good environment for education and teaching by establishing and improving the system for approving and reporting social affairs on campus and the long-term mechanism for supervision and management.
The four main tasks of remediation
- The first is to systematically find out the situation of social affairs entering the campus in recent years, formulate access standards, and strengthen the rectification of problems.
- The second is to establish a system for approving and reporting social affairs entering campuses, strictly controlling the total amount of social affairs entering campuses at the provincial, municipal, and county levels, establishing a white list and announcing it to the public.
- The third is to review the specific plan for social affairs to enter the campus, which can be integrated according to the actual work, strictly control the scope and duration of activities, and improve the quality of campus activities.
- Fourth, through monitoring, verification, notification and other means, normalize and standardize the work of social affairs on campus.
The "Notice" requires all localities to improve their positions, consolidate their responsibilities, and take the standardization of social affairs into the campus as an important work for the education system to rectify formalism and reduce the burden on the grassroots, strengthen organizational leadership, continue to promote the special rectification work to be deeper and more practical, and test the effectiveness of the special rectification with the sense of gain of teachers and students.
In order to effectively reduce the burden on primary and secondary school teachers, the Municipal Education Bureau issued the "Notice of the Fuyang Municipal Education Bureau on Continuing to Do a Good Job in Reducing the Burden of Primary and Secondary School Teachers" in April 2022.
The notice requires that all schools in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education's Department of Teachers' Work "Key Tasks for Reducing the Burden of Primary and Secondary School Teachers", combined with the actual work, further streamline all kinds of briefings and filling in forms and reporting items, strengthen the supervision of teachers' burden reduction, consolidate responsibilities, and do a good job in the "last mile" of teachers' burden reduction, so that teachers can fully feel the effect of burden reduction, and ensure that primary and secondary school teachers can concentrate on teaching and educating people.
In addition, the 2024 Fuyang Citywide Education Work Conference held in February this year clarified 7 key tasks, including: focusing on reducing the burden and increasing efficiency, continuing to stimulate the vitality of education development, deepening the "double reduction" to increase the momentum, strengthening the quality of teaching and research, and increasing the vitality of the grassroots to reduce the burden.
