This year's tea culture festival and the "National Forest City", the country's important tea-producing area, the famous tea hometown of Ningde City, Fujian Province, hand in hand, with the theme of "drinking good tea to eastern Fujian" and "tasting good tea in eastern Fujian in the eight major places of Xishan", in various forms, vigorously promote and promote Zherong alpine white tea and Shouning black tea, as well as the folk customs and intangible cultural heritage culture of eastern Fujian, to provide tourists with a good choice for the May Day holiday.

Chen Longying, director of the Standing Committee of the Zherong County People's Congress and leader of the leading group for the development of the tea industry in Zherong County, introduced that Zherong is the core production area and center of the white tea mountain recorded in the "Book of Tea" by the tea saint Lu Yu, and the unique environment of "high altitude, low latitude, cloudy fog, rich in zinc and selenium, and pollution-free" has nourished more than 70,000 acres of alpine tea plantations and precipitated a unique alpine charm. In 2021, "Zherong Alpine White Tea" was approved as a national geographical indication certification trademark. Jian Shuling, director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Shouning County, introduced that the tea garden in Shouning County covers an area of 176,700 mu and has the titles of "China's Famous Tea Township", "National Key Tea County" and "World Longevity Township". Among them, Shouning Golden Peony Black Tea (Shouning Black Tea) is a natural gift of the country's "famous, special and new" agricultural products "Yunsheng Mist Cultivation", due to the unique geographical conditions, it has given birth to the excellent quality of Shouning Black Tea "high fragrance, mellow taste, beautiful shape and bubble resistance", and it is the ingenuity of "Red Bone Rock Rhyme".
Zherong marionette, the representative of Ningde intangible cultural heritage, appeared at the press conference, brought a tea art display to everyone, sent holiday blessings to the people of the capital, and sincerely invited everyone to walk into Ningde, Zherong and Shouning to feel the original tea culture, folk art and folk customs in eastern Fujian.
