Sunshine News (Reporter Yang Xiaojuan) In order to help the mental health of children and adolescents, the Shaanxi Provincial Working Committee for the Care of the Next Generation (Provincial Customs Working Committee) explores the use of new media methods such as short videos, with family education and early childhood education as the main content, to carry out publicity and education for parents to solve their confusion in educating and caring for children. On the afternoon of April 24, the guidance group of the short video column of the Provincial Customs Working Committee walked into Cuihua Road Primary School and carried out a series of research and discussion activities.
The research activities were carried out in the form of on-site observation and symposiums. The research team inspected the school's mental health department - Heart Whispering Garden, School Security Office, School Health Room and other departments closely related to students' physical and mental health.
The school participated in the symposium, including Ms. Yan Na, a mental health teacher, and representatives of class teachers, who jointly conducted in-depth exchanges on issues, experiences and suggestions on mental health education and family education.
At the symposium, teachers shared their innovative practices and successful experiences in mental health education. They introduced how to comprehensively improve students' psychological quality and coping ability through curriculum setting, psychological counseling, home-school cooperation and other methods. At the same time, the delegates also frankly reflected the outstanding problems in the current mental health of students, such as academic pressure and interpersonal difficulties, and put forward targeted suggestions for improvement.
In addition to paying attention to students' mental health, the research team also conducted an in-depth understanding of the current situation of parents and family education. The deputies reflected that at present, some parents have some problems in family education, and it is necessary for all parties in society to work together to improve the educational literacy and ability of parents.
