On April 25, the Xiong'an Aerospace Industry Innovation Forum, a parallel forum of the 2024 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference, was held at the Xiong'an International Hotel, which was the first parallel forum held outside Beijing during the annual meeting. 600 domestic and foreign experts and scholars gathered in Xiong'an to exchange views on three aspects: "building an aerospace public service platform in Xiong'an New Area", "demonstration and application prospects of innovative products in space, near space and low-altitude fields", and "development opportunities for the aerospace industry in Xiong'an New Area", so as to further promote the high-quality development of the aerospace industry in Xiong'an New Area.
The participants watched the promotion film of "Xiong'an Jointing Growth". The relevant person in charge of Xiong'an New Area introduced the overall plan of the aerospace industry in Xiong'an New Area. The representative of China Satellite Network Group Co., Ltd. delivered a speech on the topic of "Thinking on the Development of Satellite Internet Industry in Mainland China". Five Chinese and foreign academicians, including Gu Yidong, Lu Jianhua, Wei Yiyin, Olivier Contant and Ni Guangnan, delivered keynote speeches respectively.
During the forum, three policy achievements such as the satellite Internet and commercial aerospace industry map of Xiong'an New Area, five platform achievements such as the comprehensive functional service of Xiong'an science and technology innovation carrier, and two technical achievements such as the "Beidou +" positioning technology and application of underground space of Xiong'an Aerospace Information Research Institute were released. In the demand release session of the forum, 8 requirements, including air-space-ground, communication and remote application scenarios and future urban innovation scenarios, were officially released to the public, and solutions were solicited from scientific research teams, innovative enterprises, and technical experts around the world to help the rapid transformation and implementation of aerospace industry achievements. The release of various achievements and needs provides a solid guarantee for the innovation and development of the aerospace industry, promotes the deep integration of industry, academia, research and application, and continues to build a "wind vane" of global cutting-edge technology and aerospace industry.
During the forum, the signing of the first batch of projects of the Xiong'an Science and Technology Innovation Fund and the signing of representatives of the enterprises intending to enter the aerospace industry in Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park in Xiong'an New Area were also carried out, injecting new vitality and impetus into the innovation and development of the aerospace industry.
In the roundtable dialogue session, Wang Wenbo, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and President of Xiong'an Aerospace Information Research Institute, and six experts, scholars and investors from the Commercial Aerospace Branch, Intelligent Optoelectronic Technology Center of Beijing Aerospace Unmanned Science and Technology Research Institute, Changsha Tianyi Space Science and Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., Future Aerospace, Xiong'an Interstellar Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. and GSR United Capital, conducted multi-level and cross-field in-depth exchanges on the development direction of the aerospace industry in Xiong'an New Area and shared the development opportunities of the new area.
The forum was hosted by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park Management Committee, the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the Hebei Xiong'an New Area Management Committee. Representatives from domestic and foreign science and technology organizations and research institutions, top experts and scholars, well-known entrepreneurs and investors attended the forum.
