Shengmentan Museum Art Village is characterized by an intangible cultural heritage workshop cluster, integrating production design, communication and inheritance, exhibition and sales, tourism and leisure, covering handicraft workshops, master studios, museums, life halls, intangible cultural heritage theme stores and other functional areas, in the form of "front store and back shop + e-commerce live broadcast + IP building", to innovate and explore the future rural construction model of ancient village revitalization and intangible cultural heritage renewal.
Shengmentan Museum Art Village is one of the construction projects of "Linqi 36 Courtyard" in Sandan Township. Lin Qi, the founder of "Linqi 36 Courtyard", said that the Shengmentan Museum Art Village has the thickness of a museum, and also has a sense of life, agility and activation of the art village. Young people live and start businesses here, opening up entrepreneurial space, enriching the cultural and tourism industry, and then integrating into the modern operation model, and striving to find a path of village entrepreneurship and innovation with the collaboration of the government, enterprises and villagers.
Walking into the Shengmentan Museum Art Village, the old houses are repaired as the old, integrated into the theme courtyard elements, and the "embroidery" kung fu of micro-renovation is used to activate and utilize idle old houses, and cultural excavation and innovation are carried out on the basis of retaining the profound historical heritage and rural cultural memory of Sandan Village. The alleys between the old houses are full of artistic corridors with frames, paintings, blue calico, etc. Chen Mo, designer of "Linqi 36th Academy", said that this move highlights the value and characteristics of the project through diversified and novel intangible cultural heritage displays, interactive experiences and cultural activities, promotes the modernization and transformation of traditional rural culture, and gives the ancient village buildings contemporary functions and revitalizes the rural economy while realizing the revitalization of intangible cultural heritage.
There are currently 9 workshops in the Sacred Gate Pond Museum Art Village. Among them, the Blue Calico Workshop is mainly responsible for the research, design, production and dissemination of the intangible cultural heritage project blue calico production skills, covering design, engraving, scraping, dyeing, display, experience and other functional areas, focusing on the history, current situation and traditional farming culture of Dongyang blue calico. Visitors can not only learn about the past and present of blue calico, the basic process of making blue calico, but also experience the ingenuity of making blue calico. In the form of modern digital display, the museum presents what you see and hear hidden in the countryside through images, pictures, publications, etc.
"Linqi 30 Academy" also recruited 6 craftsmen from all over the country to set up a "She Workshop" in Shengmentan to train female craftsmen, drive more people to master the skills of dyeing blue, plant dyeing, hooking and other skills, and at the same time link the local processing point to produce products, driving more than 300 people in Sandan Township to work.

Shan Liliang, secretary of the party branch of Sandan Village, said that at present, the village has attracted 40 or 50 young people to return to their hometowns to work and start businesses, and more workshops will be set up in the future, and the village will be more youthful and energetic.
