In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of urban lighting facilities in Liaobu Town, Dongguan City, Liaobu Urban Management Branch and urban lighting maintenance unit have recently jointly strengthened the maintenance and hidden danger investigation of street lamps, aiming to build a solid line of defense for urban lighting safety.
The inspection team conducted a comprehensive investigation of the lighting facilities on the main and secondary roads, back streets, alleys, squares, parks and other places in Liaobu Town, focusing on the safety of electricity, the lighting rate and the integrity rate of the facilities. The contents include the working status of the electrical accessories of the transformer and distribution box, whether the wires are loose or the insulation is aging, the integrity of the safety signs, the grounding resistance of the lamp pole and the insulation of the cable joints, etc. After the problem is found, it is dealt with immediately to ensure that the potential safety hazard is eliminated in time. At the same time, the inspection and maintenance are recorded in detail to ensure that the investigation is comprehensive and does not leave dead ends. According to statistics, since April 20, 98 inspectors have been dispatched, more than 112 damaged street lamps have been repaired, 17 street lamp faults have been eliminated, and 35 transformers have been detected.
