April 2024 is the 36th National "Patriotic Health Month". On the morning of April 24, Yuzhong County organized relevant member units of the Patriotic Health Association, the county traditional Chinese medicine hospital, maternal and child health care hospital, CDC and health supervision institute and other medical and health units to carry out the 36th patriotic health month with the theme of "healthy town, healthy weight" and the theme publicity activity of Yuzhong County to create a national health county in the health square.
At the event site, the member units of the county patriotic health association closely focused on the themes of "healthy towns, healthy weight" and "creating a national health county and building a beautiful Yuzhong in the new era", and disseminated the patriotic health campaign, the creation of a national health county, tobacco control in public places, disease prevention and medical and health care to the masses through banners, exhibition boards, propaganda color pages and other ways. Vector biological control and other knowledge, mobilize the masses to actively practice the new trend of patriotic health, take the initiative to participate in the patriotic health movement and the creation of a national health county, consciously do a good job in home hygiene and hygiene in front of and behind the house, clean up the dead corners of hygiene; guide the masses to build a solid concept of "everyone is the first person responsible for their own health", care for physical and mental health, develop a reasonable diet, moderate exercise, quit smoking and limit alcohol, psychological balance of healthy living habits, and be a practitioner of healthy life in the new era. At the same time, free clinic services and health consultation service areas were set up on the spot, and medical personnel from the county hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, maternal and child health care hospital and Yiwulu Community Health Service Station measured blood pressure and blood sugar for the masses free of charge, carried out health consultation, and provided them with guidance and suggestions on healthy diet and scientific exercise according to the test results.
In this activity, more than 6,500 copies of promotional color pages and promotional materials were distributed, more than 400 free health consultation services were provided, and 180 free medical services such as blood pressure and blood sugar measurement were carried out.
In the next step, Yuzhong County will focus on the theme of this event, continue to organize environmental sanitation clean-up activities, do a good job in environmental sanitation cleaning and remediation of key places such as main and secondary roads, garbage transfer stations, and farmers' markets in urban areas, continue to carry out a series of activities such as health science popularization, mobilize the masses to actively participate in the patriotic health campaign and the creation of national health counties, strive to be the pioneer of a healthy lifestyle, and form a new pattern of comprehensive health management of "everyone participates, builds and shares".
