Recently, the Municipal Fire and Rescue Detachment, together with the Municipal Education Bureau, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau and other units, formed three supervision and inspection teams to carry out fire safety supervision and inspection in counties, cities, and development zones for custodian institutions and other places.
The supervision and inspection adopts the method of "four noes and two straights", and comprehensively grasps the investigation and management of fire safety risks and hidden dangers in local custodian institutions and other places by consulting the ledger, spot checks, on-site questions, etc., and promotes the implementation of various tasks. During the inspection, the inspectors focused on whether the evacuation channels and safety exits were unblocked, whether the fire-fighting facilities and equipment were complete and kept intact and effective, whether the electrical wiring complied with the regulations, whether the external windows were set up with obstacles that affected the fire fighting and rescue, and whether the teachers and staff were proficient in the use of fire extinguishing equipment. In view of the hidden dangers found in the inspection process, the inspectors put forward corresponding rectification opinions on the spot, ordered the person in charge of the site to rectify as required, and strengthened daily supervision, and earnestly grasped the investigation and rectification of hidden dangers in weak links and key parts, so as to ensure that all kinds of safety risks are found early and dealt with in a small way.
To do a good job in the special management of fire safety in places such as custodian institutions, the supervision and inspection team requires, first, to raise awareness and implement responsibilities. The person in charge of each site should deeply learn the lessons of fire accidents, strengthen fire safety management, implement fire safety responsibilities, and effectively achieve self-awareness of risks, self-inspection of safety, and self-improvement of hidden dangers. Second, we must clarify measures and rectify them on schedule. In view of the problems found in the inspection, all units should formulate rectification plans, take effective measures, rectify all kinds of fire hazards as soon as possible, and actively create a safe and harmonious living environment. Third, we must strengthen propaganda and create an atmosphere. All places should improve employees' fire safety skills and self-defense and self-rescue capabilities through publicity and training, fire fighting and evacuation drills, practical training, etc.
In the next step, the detachment will continue to pay close attention to the fire safety investigation and rectification work of the city's custodian institutions and other places, establish a hidden danger ledger in a timely manner, continue to track and supervise the rectification of hidden dangers, and carry out "looking back" from time to time on the places where the rectification has been completed.
