On April 25, Xiaomi Auto held a press conference at the Beijing Auto Show, at which Lei Jun announced that a total of 5,781 units of Xiaomi SU7 have been delivered in 28 days since its release on March 28.
He also revealed that as of April 20, Xiaomi SU7 locked orders of more than 70,000 units, and from April 21 to 24, more than 5,000 new orders were placed in four days, with a total order volume of 75,723 units.
It is reported that in 2024, Xiaomi SU7 will be fully accelerated in delivery, service and OTA. The standard and Max versions, which were originally scheduled to be delivered at the end of April, have been brought forward to April 18, the Pro version will be delivered at the end of May, and deliveries are expected to exceed 10,000 units in June. The annual delivery target for the Xiaomi SU7 in 2024 has been raised to 100,000 units.
Lei Jun also announced the start of global recruitment at the 2024 Beijing International Auto Show. He said that in the past three years, Xiaomi Auto has recruited 6,000 people, including 3,500 R&D people and more than 1,000 technical experts. Xiaomi Auto's goal is to become one of the top five car manufacturers in the world through 15-20 years of hard work.
