Chen Liping seriously violated the party's political discipline, organizational discipline and integrity discipline, constituted a serious violation of public office and was suspected of accepting bribes and offering bribes, and did not restrain or stop after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which is serious in nature and has a bad impact, and should be seriously dealt with. In accordance with the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Governmental Sanctions for Public Employees," and other relevant provisions, the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection studied and reported to the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee for approval, and decided to expel Chen Liping from the party; the Provincial Supervision Commission will give her the sanction of dismissal from public office; confiscate her disciplinary and illegal gains; transfer her suspected crimes to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution in accordance with the law, and transfer the property involved together.

According to public information, Sun Zhigang, born in May 1954, is a native of Xingyang, Henan Province, and has a doctorate in economics. In February 1971, Sun Zhigang joined the team in Xingyang County, Henan Province, and two years later, he served as a cadre of the Dingdian Reservoir in Xingyang County, Henan Province. In that year, he went to Wuhan Iron and Steel Institute to study, and then stayed in the school to teach.
After that, Sun Zhigang worked in Hubei for a long time, and at the age of 39, he served as the deputy mayor of Wuhan City, Hubei Province, and then successively served as deputy secretary of the Yichang Municipal Party Committee, mayor, secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, and first secretary of the Party Committee of the Yichang Military Sub-district. A few days ago, the Supreme People's Procuratorate made a decision to arrest Sun Zhigang on suspicion of accepting bribes in accordance with the law. The case is being further processed.
