On April 24, in the vegetable planting base of Suquanzi Village, Camel Town, Gaotai County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, three unmanned tractor-drawn tomato transplanters equipped with Beidou satellite navigation system were planting tomato seedlings in the land.
Gaotai County is one of the main vegetable production areas in Northwest China, with an annual vegetable planting area of more than 200,000 acres. This year, many agricultural professional cooperatives in Gaotai County are equipped with high-tech smart express trains of Beidou navigation on agricultural machinery, and open the unmanned driving mode, so that the tractor can complete the ploughing, film laying, drip irrigation, and sowing operations through the navigation system, so as to boost the upgrading of vegetable planting technology and guide the vegetable industry to improve quality and efficiency.
