In this season of spring flowers, the strong fragrance of books wafts all over the Dapeng campus. In order to enrich the cultural life of the campus and let teachers and students feel the beauty of books and the joy of reading, on April 23, the first and second grade students of our school carried out a series of activities of "4.23 World Book Day".
During the activity, the students carefully prepared and fully demonstrated their confidence and demeanor of "having poetry and books in their belly". Some talk freely about their reading experience and recommend good books; some appreciate famous books and read classics, and have a dialogue with the master during reading, telling the story and philosophy of each book; and some tell stories with affection, sometimes full of affection, like a breeze, sometimes passionate, like a midsummer shower. Reading between the lines reveals the children's perception of reading.
Reading is enough to learn and grow talents. Children find their own world in the reading space, gain knowledge from reading, enrich their heritage, and strive to become little scholarly teenagers.
Through this activity, students experienced the harvest and joy of reading, and our school will continue to create more platforms for students to share reading, so that children can cultivate their temperament with books, enlighten their wisdom with books, cultivate virtue with books, and grow all the way to fragrance and grow all the way.
