In 1977, Shangcheng County established Baitaji Township and established Baitaji Township Health Center. In November 2022, according to the needs of the work, the Organization Department of the Shangcheng County Party Committee directly inspected and assessed the teams of the Shangcheng County Women's Hospital and Baitaji Health Center. I was transferred from the secretary of the Party branch of Shuangchunpu Town Central Health Center to the president and secretary of the Party branch of Baitaji Health Center. In order to live up to the trust and hope of the organization, on the basis of careful investigation and analysis, Baitaji Health Center has strengthened itself and improved the system in just one and a half years after external support and internal activation, and has embarked on a unique innovation path, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the health center.
1. Relying on the group, take the opportunity to develop
Before New Year's Day in 2019, the Shangcheng County Medical and Health Service Group, led by the Shangcheng County People's Hospital, was established, and 31 medical and health service institutions in the county joined together to warm up and seek common development. On January 5, 2023, when the new crown pneumonia epidemic control measures had just been relaxed, Baitaji Health Center immediately submitted a report on the development of medical services in our hospital to the county medical and health group, requesting help and support. According to the actual situation and performance of the work of Baitaji Health Center during the three-year epidemic, Shangcheng County Medical and Health Group decided to provide all-round assistance to people, finances and materials through on-site office, support a vehicle-mounted mobile 40-row CT, exempt all nucleic acid testing fees during the anti-epidemic period and fully pay the special transfer funds of the county government for epidemic prevention and anti-epidemic, and send experts to support the medical and health services of the health center and train professional and technical personnel on behalf of them as needed. With the strong support of Shangcheng County Medical and Health Group, Baitaji Health Center has integrated into the overall pattern of health services in the county and entered a new development track.
2. Focus on public sentiment and activate internal forces
The people served by Baitaji Health Center are often far away from the county and do not receive medical treatment for serious diseases, chronic diseases, and minor diseases. After a large visit, a large investigation, a large screening, through the village doctor discussion, public health follow-up, case tracking, combined with the professional and technical strength of the whole hospital, we announced to the society a number of diseases that can be treated, "can be treated" and "cured", and focused on recommending the special outpatient clinic of traditional Chinese medicine and general practitioners of Chinese and Western medicine in our hospital to treat chronic diseases, spend less money, and have good results, so that the people can see a doctor at home, afford to see a doctor, and see a good disease. On December 26, 2022, our hospital successfully completed a tension-free repair of right inguinal oblique hernia. It ended the history of the health center without surgery for nearly 10 years. At the same time, it saves more than 1,500 yuan in medical expenses for patients.
One stone strikes a thousand waves. The Baitaji Health Center was able to perform surgery, which had a great impact on the masses and soon radiated to the surrounding towns and villages of Gushi County. In 2023, our hospital will carry out more than 210 surgical operations, including routine surgical procedures such as appendicitis, hernia, saphenous varicose veins, uterine fibroids, open reduction and internal fixation of limb fractures, internal fixation removal, superficial mass resection and other first- and second-level surgeries without referral. The people are happy and relieved, the vitality of medical and nursing expertise has increased, and the development momentum of health centers has been continuously strengthened and accelerated.
Third, up and down linkage, strengthen the strength
While relying on the group and taking the opportunity to develop, we are also actively going out and constantly expanding the road of development of health centers. On May 26, 2023, Xinyang People's Hospital and our hospital realized the joint construction of the medical alliance and held a signing ceremony. In October 2023, I will come to our hospital to carry out free clinic service activities. The health center actively creates opportunities for employees to train and study, and through "sending out in groups", learning from each other's strengths, and dispatching the entire department, including doctors, head nurses, and nurses, to higher-level hospitals for further study in batches. In 2023, the health center will send 7 business backbones to go out for further study, and have reached a preliminary cooperation agreement with the Department of Orthopedics of Xinyang People's Hospital, and the personnel are being trained.
Baitaji Health Center takes the "Quality Improvement Year" action of medical and health services as an opportunity to continuously improve the quality of medical services, improve the satisfaction of the masses, and enhance the soft power of the health center, so that the patients who come to Baitaji Health Center can get a "spring breeze" experience. At the same time, it also strengthens the learning of doctor-patient communication among medical staff, improves the service attitude of medical staff, improves the admission and discharge process, and shortens the waiting time for patients to enter and discharge.

In the past year, through the joint efforts of the top and bottom, the work of our hospital has been fully affirmed by the county health commission, achieved the goal of entering the advanced ranks of medical and health care in the county, won the comprehensive advanced award and made a speech on behalf of the township health center.

The long-term development of Baitaji Health Center is absolutely inseparable from the guidance of party building, system construction, mechanism innovation, team management, talent training, performance evaluation, etc.
As the secretary of the party branch of the hospital, I took the "finding the president if you have something" of the Baitaji Health Center as the first system to implement it. Directly communicate with the masses "face-to-face", zero-distance communication, and continuously improve hospital management and service quality. For every person who comes to the hospital, the whole hospital implements the service of "asking, leading, and helping", taking the initiative to meet them, asking about needs, guiding them to seek medical treatment, providing help, and "zero distance" from the people who come to the hospital, so that the people who come to the hospital are "not strangers".
