Jiacheng Community, Songguantun Street, "Reading Moistens the Heart and Bathe in the Fragrance of Books" National Reading Activity

In order to further enhance the cultural accomplishment of young people, guide children to develop good reading habits, and create a strong reading atmosphere, on the occasion of World Book Day, Jiacheng Community of Songguantun Street and Dezhou Volunteer Service Federation walked into Jiacheng Blue Sky Kindergarten on April 24 to carry out the activity of "DIY Different Dried Flower Bookmarks".

During the activity, the teacher told the children about the origin of World Book Day, the benefits of reading, the method of reading, and the joy of reading good books, leading everyone to read picture books and feel the joy of reading. The teacher was still proud of the whole process, and the children listened with relish.

Then the volunteers explained the bookmark making skills, the children couldn't wait to pick up the materials in their hands to do it, some of them played independently, some made it with their classmates, placed their favorite dried flowers on the bookmark template, carefully selected, dripping white glue to glue, a unique bookmark was done, everyone admired each other, and enjoyed the joy of success.

Through the activities, the children's understanding of reading is deepened, so that children can fully show their talents, cultivate children's interest in reading, and enhance children's self-confidence in the creative activities of making bookmarks.
