On April 21, the 33rd China (Jiangsu) medical team to Zanzibar held a donation ceremony of medical supplies at Abduram Cai Hospital on Pemba Island. This batch of donated materials was provided by the Affiliated Hospital of Yangda University, including portable ultrasound, fiber cholangioscope, hysteroscope, medical consumables and medicines.

Over the past 60 years, the medical team members sent by the Yangzhou Municipal Health Commission have brought health and hope to the local people with their medical skills and love in the land of Zanzibar. The 33rd China (Jiangsu) Zanzibar Medical Team, composed of 22 members, went to Zanzibar, Tanzania on September 20, 2023 to carry out a one-year medical aid mission.
