On the morning of April 24, the 18th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Third People's Congress of Shibei District was held, and Li Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. The vice chairmen and members of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress attended the meeting, and the responsible comrades of the district government, the district supervision commission, the district court, and the district procuratorate, the responsible comrades of some district-level departments, the responsible comrades of the committees and offices of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, and the directors of the working committees of the people's congresses of various neighborhoods attended the meeting as observers.
The meeting listened to and deliberated the report of the district government on the work of improving the quality of junior high schools, the report of the district government on the work of human resources services, and the report of the district procuratorate on the prosecution of accusations and appeals. The list of individual vice chairmen and members of the relevant special committees of the Third District People's Congress (draft), the list of individual members of the Standing Committee of the Third District People's Congress (draft), and the "Decision of the Standing Committee of the Shibei District People's Congress on the Renaming of the Relevant Working Bodies of the Standing Committee of the Shibei District People's Congress (Draft)" were voted and approved. The district government's handling of the mid-term assessment report on the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan for the National Economic and Social Development of Shibei District and the district government's handling of the 2023 government debt management review opinions were studied. Listened to the work report of some municipal people's congress deputies and made comments.
The meeting also voted to approve the bill on personnel appointments and dismissals, and took the constitutional oath.
