The ID.CODE adopts an exclusive design specially created for China, and the body shape is extremely muscular and powerful, which is somewhat similar to AVATR 11. The new car indicates the future design style of Volkswagen in China, which will cover the three joint ventures of FAW-Volkswagen, SAIC-Volkswagen and Volkswagen Anhui, forming their own differentiation.
The front face of the ID.CODE presents a "smiley" shape, with lidar and perception cameras integrated into the front windshield, the interactive light strip is a light-up logo in the center, and vertical headlights are equipped on both sides, the side of the car adopts an aerodynamic streamlined design, and the AR smart screen window can realize interaction outside the car, and the rear is equipped with a large-size spoiler, and the light cluster echoes the front of the car. After the new car turns on assisted driving, the front and rear light strips, front bumper radar, and exterior mirrors will be lit up with exclusive indicators.
The interior of the ID.CODE features a wrap-around design with an integrated "fish screen" and a vertical control screen in front of the multi-functional central island. The new car will offer a spacious interior, and thanks to the integrated design of the battery and chassis, it will provide a more comfortable seating position, and the four independent seats in the front and rear can be rotated in opposite directions, and it is expected to adopt the traditional five-seat layout after mass production.
