Today (April 24) is the ninth "China Space Day". A few days ago, the 2024 China Aerospace Conference was held in Wuhan, Hubei. During the conference, the 3rd New Aerospace 100 Conference and the 2023 Commercial Aerospace Annual Awards Ceremony were held. At the event, Tianbing Technology won three awards: "The Most Commercially Valuable Enterprise in Commercial Aerospace", "The Most Influential Enterprise in Commercial Aerospace" and "The Most Popular Enterprise in Commercial Aerospace". Kang Yonglai, founder and chairman of Tianbing Technology, won the "2024 Commercial Aerospace Person of the Year Award".
It is understood that the theme of this conference is "The Singularity is Coming, China's Commercial Aerospace Opens a New Pattern". Hundreds of elites from the industry gathered together to establish a bridge for resource sharing and information exchange between aerospace agencies through in-depth exchanges and discussions, and injected new impetus into the prosperity and development of China's commercial aerospace industry.
As the first "global unicorn" enterprise in Zhangjiagang, Tianbing Technology has bravely overcome technical difficulties all the way and broken through nearly 100 creative key technologies. In April last year, the first flight of "Tianlong II", named after Zhangjiagang City, was successful, creating eight commercial space records such as the first flight of the world's private liquid rocket.
At present, Tianbing Technology has successfully developed the "Tianlong-3" large liquid launch vehicle and the liquid rocket engine with the largest thrust in commercial aerospace, and will usher in its first flight in the second half of this year. At that time, the "Tianlong-3" rocket will become the rocket with the largest commercial space carrying capacity in China, the first special rocket for China's large-scale satellite Internet constellation, and the most cost-effective rocket in the global launch market. Tianbing Technology will also inject surging momentum into Zhangjiagang's active layout of future industries represented by aerospace.
