According to the latest news from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Indonesia has confirmed more than 62,000 cases of dengue fever and 475 deaths, about three times that of the same period last year, mostly in Tangerang and Bandung. A confirmed case has been found in a Chinese citizen. As the May Day holiday approaches, the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Indonesia remind Chinese citizens in Indonesia to pay attention to travel safety and strengthen prevention against dengue fever: 1. Pay attention to relevant information and news reports of the Indonesian government in a timely manner, raise awareness of prevention, and take preventive measures according to the recommendations of official institutions. 2. Maintain the hygiene of the living environment, avoid the breeding of mosquitoes in stagnant water, add screens and mosquito nets in the workplace and residence, and do a good job in mosquito control and prevention. When going out, wear long-sleeved and long-pants clothing, carry mosquito repellent and insect repellent supplies, avoid staying in places where mosquitoes are abundant, and beware of mosquito bites. 3.
