On October 25, 1950, the million-strong division of the mainland People's Volunteers successfully arrived at the front line of the Korean battlefield, marking the official opening of the Movement to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.
The U.S. troops landed at Inchon as planned, and the commander-in-chief, MacArthur, was arrogant, saying that our army was nothing more than that, and that they would soon be able to push our army back, and the war would be ended on the eve of Thanksgiving.
Despite his arrogance, MacArthur was still cautious about how to deal with our army, and he first sent the 8th Cavalry Regiment of the US Army to Unsan City to hand over the local South Korean garrison.
After Mr. Peng knew that the 8th Cavalry Regiment of the U.S. Army was an elite unit, he sent the brave and skilled 39th Army of our army, intending to infiltrate Yunshan City first to occupy the terrain in order to dominate the battle.
