On April 24, Huawei Intelligent Vehicle Solution BU (hereinafter referred to as Huawei Car BU) released a new intelligent vehicle solution brand, Huawei Qiankun, which focuses on intelligent driving, including intelligent cockpit, intelligent driving, intelligent vehicle control, and intelligent vehicle cloud services.

It is worth mentioning that at the same time as the release of the new intelligent vehicle solution brand, Huawei Car BU also released intelligent products such as "Qiankun ADS", "Qiankun Vehicle Control", "Qiankun Car Cloud", and a new generation of Hongmeng cockpit. Among them, Qiankun ADS 3.0 is a highlight.
Jin Yuzhi introduced that the recognition and perception capability of the new architecture of ADS 3.0 is upgraded to the GOD network on the basis of the architecture of the BEV network + GOD network of ADS 2.0. To put it simply, ADS 3.0's road and scene recognition capabilities, through cloud and real vehicle training, the intelligent driving system has the ability to understand the scene, and make driving decisions closer to human drivers, realizing the experience of driving on the road.
At the same time, the omnidirectional collision avoidance system (CAS) equipped with ADS 3.0 has also been upgraded to CAS 2.0, and the active safety capabilities of the front, rear and sides have been comprehensively improved. Among them, in the AEB intelligent driving horizontal evaluation test, the M9 equipped with CAS 2.0 omnidirectional collision avoidance system is ahead of many comparison models in scenarios such as pedestrian crossing, left turn and pedestrian, and probe battery car.
In addition to the high-end Qiankun ADS 3.0 version, Qiankun ADS has also launched the ADS SE version, which supports the basic intelligent parking capability of high-speed easy driving and visible parking. "It is expected that by the end of the year, more than 500,000 vehicles will be equipped with Huawei's intelligent driving system. Jin Yuzhi said that intelligence is no longer a tram patent.

Tianfeng Securities said in the research report that models with more than 200,000 yuan are the main force of intelligent driving, and under the change of sales price structure, the penetration rate of L2+ level standard equipment has reached 42.74%.
Cinda Securities believes that under the gradual development path of intelligent driving, the L3 function is accelerating the landing, driven by the three core factors of policy, technology and cost, the inflection point of intelligent driving is gradually emerging.
It is worth noting that this press conference is the first public appearance of Huawei's car BU after its independent operation. On November 25 last year, Changan Automobile and Huawei signed a "Memorandum of Investment Cooperation", stating that Huawei plans to establish a new company to focus on the research and development, production, sales and service of intelligent driving systems and incremental components of intelligent networked vehicles. It is understood that Huawei will integrate the core technology and resources of the car BU into this new company.
After that, on the one hand, Huawei Car BU issued an invitation to open equity to partners in the smart car model such as Celis, Chery, JAC, and BAIC, and on the other hand, it officially announced that it had reached cooperation with a number of car companies. At this press conference, executives from Shenlan Automobile, VOYAH Automobile and other car companies also attended.
At present, Huawei mainly enters the automotive track in three modes: component mode, HI mode (solution mode), and HarmonyOS Zhixing. At present, car companies such as Deep Blue Automobile, VOYAH Automobile, and GAC Trumpchi have chosen the Huawei HI model, rather than the Hongmeng Zhixing model adopted by Cialis, Chery, BAIC, and JAC.
Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei, CEO of Huawei's Device Business Group, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Intelligent Vehicle Solution BU, explained: "At present, there are four major companies that have adopted the smart car solution: Celis, Chery, BAIC, and JAC. Due to the shortage of manpower and resources, Huawei can only open model sites and test areas in the same way as Huawei does carrier business. ”
Huawei's cooperation with a number of car companies is also a reflection of its desire to accelerate profitability. According to the 2023 Huawei Intelligent Vehicle Solution Annual Report, Huawei has invested more than 30 billion yuan in R&D since its establishment, with a R&D team of 7,000 people. In 2023, Huawei's intelligent vehicle solution business achieved sales revenue of 4.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 128.1%.

According to Jin Yuzhi, "within this year, Dongfeng's VOYAH and Mengshi brands will be launched with Qiankun intelligent driving." In addition, there are Changan's Deep Blue and AVATAR, GAC Trumpchi, BAIC's Jihu and Xiangjie, Cialis Wenjie, Chery Zhijie, and JAC Aojie, a total of more than 10 strategic cooperation models equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS will be launched. ”
