The main challenge of the project was to work to reduce the inconvenience caused by the site while completing the overall refurbishment. Thus, the new school is located at the southern end of the plot, the building is V-shaped, and the main body is located in the square in front of the entrance.

Built in 1966 and now renamed after Josephine Baker, the secondary school has recently undergone extensive renovations. A new building replaces an old school building on the site, providing a richer learning environment for teachers and students and opening a new chapter in the school's history. The new building has a capacity of 600 students and has an auditorium and a gymnasium.

Project Challenges
The project is part of a complex urban plot. The school is located in an isolated urban area with a noisy environment due to the nearby motorway. The main challenge of the project was to work to reduce the inconvenience caused by the site while completing the overall refurbishment. Thus, the new school is located at the southern end of the plot, the building is V-shaped, and the main body is located in the square in front of the entrance.

Architectural quality
The building is built in the Mediterranean style, with walls and overall massing giving a protective feel. In addition, the school benefits from abundant natural light, as well as a play of light and shadow on the visors. The school's compact structure takes into account both the constraints of the site and the need for sustainable development and, more broadly, the need to save money.
