Notice on convening the 2024 National Wheat Yield Improvement Technical Training and High-quality Special Wheat On-site Observation Meeting
Member units of the National High-quality Special Wheat Industry Alliance, relevant experts:
In order to solidly promote the large-scale wheat yield improvement action, display the high-yield and high-quality wheat varieties and related products in the mainland, and promote the development of wheat industrialization, the National High-quality Special Wheat Industry Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the Alliance) is scheduled to hold the 2024 National Wheat Yield Improvement Technical Training and High-quality Special Wheat On-site Observation Meeting in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province in early May. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows.
First, the content of the meeting
(1) On-site observation. Observe the alliance's high-quality special wheat variety display base and Yancheng wheat large-area yield improvement production base, and visit the Yandu District Smart Agriculture and Seed Industry Innovation Incubation Center;
(2) Special reports. Experts will be invited to make special reports on the technical path of wheat yield improvement, industrial supply and demand, and the promotion of high-quality wheat industrialization.
(3) Production and marketing docking. The signing ceremony of high-quality special wheat production and marketing orders was held, and the alliance units were awarded.
2. Time and place
Time: Registration on May 9, on-site observation in the morning of May 10, indoor meeting in the afternoon.

3. Participants
(A) the National High-quality Special Wheat Industry Alliance processing, storage, breeding, seed industry, promotion, new business entities and other member units of 1-2 representatives;
(B) the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the Department of Planting Management, the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the relevant leaders;
(3) Well-known experts engaged in wheat scientific research, teaching, and promotion;
(4) Relevant media reporters.
4. Other matters
(1) Delegates are requested to send the receipt of participation (see attachment) to the mailbox of the Alliance Secretariat before April 30.
(2) Participants shall bear their own round-trip transportation and accommodation expenses, and the meal expenses shall be provided by the conference. Please strictly abide by the spirit of the eight regulations of the central government and the implementation rules and the discipline requirements of the meeting, and strictly implement the relevant regulations on the collection and management of travel and food expenses and transportation expenses in the city.
