Loop poems, also known as palindromic poems, are unique in the forest of poetry, quite difficult, and can be called a model of non-mainstream. Wu Jing of the Tang Dynasty wrote "Yuefu Ancient Questions to Solve": "Palindromic poems, reply to read them, all songs are written. After reading it back and forth, you can get the charm of the whole poem, and there is a deep meaning between the lines. In the eyes of the ancients, palindromic poems not only demonstrated the depth of literary attainments, but also were as fascinating as a play on words. Generations of literati and writers have competed to pursue it, and this style of poetry has become very popular, like a strange bloom on the poetry altar.
When it comes to the Northern Song Dynasty, a literary giant jumps on the page, and that is Su Dongpo. Mr. Dongpo wrote countless poems in his life, with far-reaching influence, and can be called a bright star in the history of literature, on the same level as Li Bai, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. And Dongpo is full of talents, known as the "Four Bachelors of Sumen" in history, Huang Tingjian, Qin Guan, Chao Buzhi, and Zhang Lei are all his protégés. Among them, there are many historical allusions between Huang Tingjian and Qin Guan, and Qin Guan and Mr. Dongpo are even more related.
When it comes to Qin Guan, some people may not know its name, but its famous sentence "If the two love is long, how can it be in the twilight of the dynasty" is widely praised. Qin Guan, the word Shaoyou, is known as Qin Shaoyou. In Feng Menglong's "Warning Words", a good story between Qin Guan and Su Xiaomei is recorded, among which the plot of the correct answer in the cave room is particularly fascinating.
When Qin Guan walked into the wedding room, Su Xiaomei set up a problem with the sentence "push open the window with both hands". He frowned and pondered, time flies, seeing that the auspicious time is about to be missed, his heart is like an ant on a hot pot, restless. At this moment, Su Shi saw this, and gently threw a small pebble into the pond, and the pebble entered the water, causing a circle of ripples, and the water splashed and happened to hit Qin Guan's face. At this moment, Qin Guan had a flash of inspiration, and the next link blurted out: "Throwing stones to break through the water and the sky." As soon as the words fell, the door of the wedding room opened, and the difficulty was resolved.
Su Shi is twelve years older than Qin Guan, talented and profound, although the two have very different styles - one is bold and the other is graceful, but they are commensurate with each other and learn from each other. One day, Qin Guan sent Su Shi a strange letter, only fourteen characters, arranged in a circle, like a puzzle. Su Shi savored it carefully, and finally suddenly realized that this was a loop poem, and the last word of each sentence was the first word of the next sentence, forming a wonderful rhythm of repetition.
