(1) Vacation time. The "May Day" holiday is a total of 5 days (May 1 to 5), and the expressway implements a toll exemption policy for small passenger cars with less than 7 seats (inclusive).
(2) Weather conditions. (3) Traffic flow. During the "May Day" holiday, the traffic flow of expressways, national and provincial highways, cities and scenic spots will be at a high level for a long time, and the traffic flow will gather for a short time, and there will be regional congestion on the Huanlan Expressway. The average daily traffic of the entire road network is expected to reach 7.5 million vehicles, an increase of 41% from normal days, an increase of 27% from the May Day holiday in 2023, and the maximum daily traffic will exceed 7.6 million vehicles, while the average daily traffic of expressways will reach 2.96 million vehicles, an increase of 97.3% from normal days, a slight increase from the May Day holiday in 2023, and the maximum daily traffic will exceed 3.08 million vehicles.
The peak time to leave the city is April 30 (the day before the holiday) and May 1. Traffic starts to rise at 2 p.m. on April 30 and is expected to reach its peak at 7 p.m., while travel is expected to peak at 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 1, with a peak at 11 a.m. The peak period for returning to the city is May 5 (the last day of the holiday), and travel is mainly concentrated from 15 to 21 o'clock, and the peak is expected to reach 17 o'clock.

2. Congestion-prone road sections
（1）青兰高速（G22）榆中隧道群路段（K1806-K1860）

（2）连霍高速（G30）忠和至兰州天水路路段（K1690-K1710）

(3) Lanhai Expressway (G75) Lanzhou South Toll Station and Urban Road Connection Section (K0-K4)

(1) Qinglan Expressway (G22) service area and Dingxi service area

(1) Freight vehicles are restricted on some sections of the Huanlan Expressway
