In order to further broaden students' knowledge horizons and let them experience the charm of traditional culture, recently, Jinchengjiang No. 5 Middle School, Huanjiang No. 5 Elementary School, Huanjiang New Start Kindergarten and other schools jointly organized a unique research activity. The venue of the event was selected as the "Four Squares" project base of Chenshuang Village, Sien Town, Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County, which is not only a vivid epitome of Guangdong-Guizhou cooperation to help rural revitalization, but also a bright pearl of intangible cultural heritage inheritance.
During the activity, under the guidance of volunteers, the students participated in the construction of kilns and the production of special food. The local delicacies such as kiln chicken and sweet potato kiln made by them not only satisfy the enjoyment of taste buds, but also feel the unique charm of traditional food culture in the process of operation. In addition, the students also learned traditional skills such as stone grinding rice balls and making zongzi, and gradually appreciated the profound heritage of traditional culture in the process of hands-on practice.
What excites the students the most is the learning of traditional handicrafts such as Miao batik, paper-cutting, and weaving Maonan brocade. Under the patient explanation and demonstration of volunteers, the students tried their hands and experienced the fun of folk handicrafts with their hearts. Although their work is not perfect, the joy and sense of accomplishment of creating it with their own hands is overflowing.
As an important achievement of Guangdong-Guizhou cooperation, the "Four Squares" project of Chenshuangcun aims to build a comprehensive project base integrating intangible cultural heritage inheritance, research experience, and leisure and tourism. Among them, the main workshop mainly displays ethnic minority cultural objects and ethnic specialties, while the second workshop focuses on the inheritance and development of traditional skills such as batik, weaving and painting. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of the construction of the base, more and more schools choose to organize students to carry out research activities, so that students can feel the charm of traditional culture in personal experience.
This research activity not only allowed the students to get in close contact with the traditional skills of intangible cultural heritage, but also made them deeply feel the unique value of traditional culture and intangible cultural heritage. In the future, the "Four Squares" project base of Chenshuangcun will continue to play an active role in the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage and rural revitalization, provide more students with opportunities to learn and experience traditional culture, and jointly draw a beautiful picture of rural revitalization.
