A few days ago, Mercedes-Benz's new G 500 was officially unveiled. This time, in addition to upgrading the appearance, interior and configuration, the new car is also equipped with a 3.0T L6 engine + 48-volt mild hybrid system, although the displacement is reduced, but the performance is stronger and the acceleration is faster.
On the outside, major details have been tweaked, such as an optimised spoiler lip on the roof edges, while the A-pillar panels have been redesigned to reduce drag and improve NVH. In addition, the front grille has been replaced with four of the original three openwork chrome trim strips, while the surrounding shape has also been significantly changed.
Inside, the dual 12.3-inch integrated screens are the highlight, and the layout of the physical buttons on the center console has also been optimized. At the same time, the new car has been upgraded in terms of configuration.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 3.0T L6 engine + 48-volt mild hybrid system, of which the engine has a maximum power of 330 kilowatts and a peak torque of 560 Nm, while the electric motor provides 20 horsepower, making the vehicle accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds.
