After the update, there are more options in the menu that can recognize animal eyes, and it should be noted that this is different from the position of the option for human recognition, the top is only to recognize the body, but it can recognize several, and the following one is to recognize the eyes or body, but only one.
After the update, the ability to recognize the eyes of animals is also pretty good, and it can basically be recognized normally.
However, for dogs that run fast with telephoto follow-up, they still can't stabilize on the eyes, and there is still room for improvement.

After the update, the recognition of cars or motorcycles is very accurate and stress-free. However, there is no order of identification here, and if you choose a car, you will never recognize a motorcycle.
Of course, tricycles and small electric donkeys are also classified in motorcycles, and there is no problem in identification.
Improved stabilization

Pre-continuous and proxy videos
Pre-burst shooting is a very useful feature, especially in scenes that require reactions, such as birds and sports competitions.
In this case of ultra-high-speed burst capture, it is often too late to press the shutter, and it is necessary to predict the shutter press in advance based on experience, but even a very experienced veteran is often not necessarily successful.
Panasonic's updated pre-burst shooting can record the time before pressing the shutter very well, and the recording starts in the halfway shutter press, and the time before the shutter is pressed can be retraced to a maximum of 1.5 seconds at the moment of pressing the shutter. In the S5M2's ultra-high-speed continuous shooting of 30 frames per second, this function is equivalent to recording up to 45 photos in the first 1.5 seconds before the shutter is pressed.
One of the things you need to pay attention to when actually shooting is that you must remember to press the shutter halfway in advance!
