On April 22, on the occasion of the ninth "China Aerospace Day", the 201 Institute of the Second Academy of China Aerospace Science and Industry and the 10 Departments of the 10th Academy jointly carried out the theme of "Great Power Heavy Weapon Divine Sword Might" Aerospace Science Popularization into the Campus Activity. The event was strongly guided by the Military Museum of the Chinese Revolution, the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, as well as the Youth Science and Technology Center of the China Association for Science and Technology, the Science and Technology and Quality Department of China Aerospace Science and Industry Group, the Youth League Committee of the Second Academy and the Youth League Committee of the Tenth Academy. The activity was carried out simultaneously on Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, Kuaishou, Station B and other platforms in the form of online open classes, spreading the spirit of aerospace for students in many regions across the country, displaying the development history and brilliant achievements of China's missile weapons and equipment, introducing the deeds of a large number of missile experts represented by Qian Xuesen, the father of missiles, and encouraging the majority of young people to have great ambitions, great virtues, and great talents. More than 300,000 teachers and students from 28 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) including Beijing, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Tibet, Yunnan, Guangxi, and Guizhou, as well as netizens, watched the open class.

The event is divided into two parts: video science popularization and question answering. In the video science popularization session, young aerospace science and technology workers turned into "little reporters" and walked into the Chinese Military Revolution Museum and led the students to visit the "Missile Weapons and Equipment Technology Hall". The students followed the lens of the "little reporter" and reviewed the strategic decision of China's aerospace industry to develop its aerospace industry, learned the development process of China's air defense missile weapon system, flight missile weapon system and ballistic missile weapon system together, and deeply understood the fighting spirit of the older generation of aerospace ancestors such as Qian Xuesen, Ren Xinmin, Tu Shouye, Huang Weilu and Liang Shoupan, and traced the entrepreneurial road of the predecessors.

In the Q&A session, the students were full of curiosity about China's aerospace scientific research work and raised one question after another, such as "how are missiles composed", "what types of missiles are there", "how do missiles fly", "how high and far can missiles fly", and so on...... Through video connection, the young aerospace science and technology workers answered the questions that the students were concerned about one by one.
