According to reports, the fisherman's courtyard is a unique water town landscape on both sides of the 14th Chung of Wanqingsha, which refers to the water-friendly space spontaneously formed by the villagers of the fishing village along both sides of the river in combination with their living needs, and is mostly composed of canopies, platforms, water ladders, wharves and other elements.
Combined with the regional characteristics and actual needs, the modular design is carried out for the characteristic elements of the waterfront space of the fishing village, so as to improve the rural style, improve the living environment of the villagers with micro significance, effectively optimize the living space and village style of the villagers, improve the environmental quality, and help the construction of the new rural demonstration belt.
According to the announcement, the design scope of this activity is about 700 meters long and about 39 hectares along the landscape belt on both sides of the 14th Chung in Honggang Village, Wanqingsha Town. The waterfront area of the fisherman's courtyard covers an area of about 8,050 square meters and is composed of characteristic elements such as canopies, fences, gardens, piers and boat poles.
The design goal is to further renovate the space on both sides of the river, solve the problem of part of the space encroaching on the river and affecting the safety of flooding, and reshape the landscape of the waterfront space of villages on both sides of the river. Combined with the actual use needs of the villagers, we will create a water-friendly space with local characteristics of "fisherman's courtyard", provide practical living space for the villagers, and create a spatial intention of "first-line water town, thousands of Taiwan courtyards".
The "Announcement" also proposes that the plan needs to take the fisherman's courtyard as a unit, fully consider the relationship between the fisherman's courtyard and the villagers' houses and the river, and based on the characteristic elements of the fisherman's courtyard such as canopy, fence, sewer ladder, garden, wharf and boat pole, carry out prototype, standardization and modular design from the perspectives of material, color, style and size, and the relevant structures should be sustainable and long-term to cope with a variety of use functions, and have simple material technology and construction methods at the same time, but also have the quality of permanent building use and physical examination.
The proposal should reflect at least but not limited to design thinking about the following 4 elements:
1. Terrace canopy: From the perspective of materials and structure, fully consider the relationship between platforms, canopies and other devices and existing houses, and transform existing facilities to meet the diverse production and living needs of local residents under the premise of ensuring flood flow and adapting to the local climate;
2. Terrace railing: reflected in the rural style of the ground, taking into account practicality and aesthetics;
3. Landscape garden: mainly consider the landscape space set on both sides of residential buildings, waterfront open space, both sides of the road and other areas, and adopt modular design to guide residents to create spontaneously;
4. Urban furniture: mainly consider public open space and public infrastructure, combine with the local rural style, improve the rural style from the perspective of public facilities, and strengthen the construction of new rural demonstration belts.
