At the first quarter press conference held by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security on the same day, Chen Yongjia said that from January to March, a total of 3.03 million new urban jobs were created, an increase of 60,000 year-on-year, and employment achieved a good start and remained generally stable.
"As the economy continues to pick up, there are many favorable conditions for doing a good job in employment. Chen Yongjia said that at the same time, the pressure on total employment and structural contradictions are still prominent, and some workers still have more difficulties, and hard work is needed to stabilize employment.
In the next step, the human resources and social security department will focus on supporting the stabilization and expansion of posts, continue to implement policies such as reducing unemployment and work-related injury insurance rates, implement and improve policies such as the return of stable posts, special loans, and employment subsidies, strengthen support for various business entities such as the private economy and small, medium and micro enterprises, and vigorously promote the "direct subsidy and quick service" to fully release the efficiency of job stabilization.
At the same time, the human resources and social security department will also focus on broadening employment channels, implementing advanced manufacturing to promote employment, accelerating the cultivation of new employment growth points such as the digital economy and the silver economy, and creating more high-quality employment opportunities.
In terms of strengthening precise services, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Finance recently jointly issued the "Opinions on Promoting Public Employment Services to the Grassroots Level", proposing to strive to build a number of exemplary and leading grassroots employment service outlets in 2 to 3 years. Chen Yongjia introduced that the human resources and social security department will focus on densely populated areas, industrial agglomeration areas and other areas, lay out grassroots employment service outlets, and promote the radiation of service information to the grassroots.
