On April 23, Gangu County held a reading and sharing activity with the theme of "Reading for a Better Life, Gathering Civilized Practice, and Building a Civilized Gangu". Fan Hui, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee, Minister of the Propaganda Department, and Director of the Office of the County New Era Civilization Practice Center, attended the ceremony.
Fan Hui mentioned in her speech that the sons and daughters of Gangu have always taken "poetry and book heirlooms" as a family motto and family rules, which has cultivated the simple folk customs of advocating literature and virtue. In recent years, the county has adhered to the guidance of civilized practice in the new era, and carried out a series of national reading activities with distinct themes, rich content and various forms. At the sharing meeting, volunteers from civilized units at all levels in the county, the New Era Civilization Practice Institute, the station and the Children's Palace of the rural school brought us the sharing and exchange of many classic literary works such as "The Kite Runner", "The Education of Love" and "Lovely China". In such a spring afternoon dyed by books and ink, they use books as a medium to read and convey feelings, leading everyone into a wonderful world and embarking on a journey of soul.
At the end of the event, Fan Hui presented honorary trophies and souvenirs to the participants and took a group photo. More than 50 people from relevant departments, township leaders and cadres and workers of units participated in the activities.
