The reporter learned from the All-Netherlands Federation of Students that the 2024 Annual Work Conference of the All-Netherlands Federation of Students and the General Election of the 19th Standing Council have been held recently. The main agenda of the meeting included the work summary of the 18th Standing Council of the All-Netherlands Federation of Students, the annual work report of each representative branch, the general election of the 19th Council of the All-Netherlands Federation of Students, and the commendation of the outstanding chapters and outstanding backbones of the Federation. Professor Yu Bing, Vice President of the Shanghai Western Returned Scholars Association and former President of the All-Netherlands Student Federation, was invited to attend the meeting and delivered a speech, and more than 30 people, including members of the Standing Council of the All-Netherlands Student Federation, outstanding assistant representatives of the All-Netherlands Student Federation and representatives of 13 local chapters, attended the meeting online and offline. Wang Xinhui, Secretary-General of the All-Dutch Federation of Students, presided over the meeting.
Chen Yu, Chairman of the All-Netherlands Federation of Students, summarized the work of the 18th Standing Council of the All-Netherlands Federation of Students since his two-year tenure. He said that since March 2022, the members of the 18th Standing Council of the All-Netherlands Federation of Students have made concerted efforts to fulfill their duties and bring forth the new, and have launched a number of new measures based on five aspects: providing services for students studying in the Netherlands, promoting the career development of overseas students, organizing cultural and recreational activities, promoting cultural exchanges between China and the Netherlands, and carrying out the internal construction of the Federation, and achieved good results.

Yang Yang, representative of the Amsterdam branch, Zheng Yujing, chairman of the Rotterdam branch, Ji Tianchang, chairman of the Utrele branch, and Pan An, chairman of the Enschede branch, introduced the characteristics of their respective chapters, reviewed the wonderful activities held by each branch in the past year, and elaborated on the future work plan.

The meeting also adopted the 2024 Constitution of the Chinese Federation of Students and Scholars in the Netherlands, and commended the outstanding branches and outstanding key members of the All-Netherlands Student Federation in 2023-2024.
